- Paige's parents find out that she and Matty have kissed. Her parents don't like how Ben is raising Marty and forbid Paige to see Matty again.
- Ben think's his brother's girlfriend (Gina Torres) is coming on to him at a party. Later she wants to meet with Ben in his office to discuss a book she is writing.
- Ben and Carl are upset that their dad has been seeing a woman behind their backs, and she is Ben's neighbor. Matty gets a job in a restaurant folding napkins.
- Matty is bragging on how his dad, Ben, defended them from a mugger. Ben then gets sued by the mugger for injuries to his body. (unaired)
- Ben's friends try to fix him up with a date who turns out a bit wacky. Ben then asks a Elizabeth from upstairs to go out but worries that Matty may have trouble with him dating.
- Ben's sister-in-law Julia is back in town after skipping town on him while owing him money. She now has the money and says she is trying to change. (unaired)
- Ben shops for a bedroom lamp but ends up buying a new couch from a beautiful sales lady. Matty is unhappy that a new couch was bought when he wants a new mini-bike.
- Matty wants to go to Funk-Fest with his Uncle Carl but it is the same day he is supposed to go to Bugsco with his dad. Ben then finds out that Matty broke up with Paige and his Uncle already knew.
- Matty and his friend Weitzman both fall for the daughter of Ben's competitive high-school pal Michael (Clifton Davis). Meanwhile Ben and Michael try to out do each other in athletic events.
