With Pat Sajak’s final appearance as host of “Wheel of Fortune,” the makeup of a daily hour of television that structures the days of millions of Americans is shifting once more.
“Wheel of Fortune” is the low-pressure option of the two famous game shows invented by the late superproducer Merv Griffin. Unlike “Jeopardy,” it’s intended to be not aspirational but accessible, with simple word-puzzle games and a department-store glamour that comforts but doesn’t dazzle. And Sajak, along with Vanna White revealing the letters, has been at its center since relatively close to the beginning; he took over from Chuck Woolery in 1981, six years into the show’s run, and has since been honored by the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest continuous stint hosting a single game show.
His departure won’t leave a vacuum, exactly; his replacement, Ryan Seacrest, was announced in June 2023 — nearly...

While Jeopardy! super-champ Adriana Harmeyer continued her winning ways on Thursday night (June 6), Ken Jennings seemingly made a reference to his former co-host, Mayim Bialik. As reported by The U.S. Sun, Jennings made the reference during the Final Jeopardy round when he told Harmeyer’s opponents, “Unfortunately, that’s not correct.” That’s not how Jennings usually says things, but it is exactly how Bialik phrased her Final Jeopardy rulings when she was host. Now fans are wondering if Ken is copying Mayim, or having a little inside joke involving his former co-host. “After Shira’s response to Fj was revealed, Ken brought back memories of Mayim by saying, “Unfortunately, that’s not correct,”” wrote one viewer on the Jeopardy! Reddit forum. Another fan commented: ‘Wow! That’s totally what Mayim used to say on the show. I’m sure Ken knew exactly what he was saying there.” Earlier this year,...

Young Sheldon’s ending had everyone in tears of nostalgia when it hit CBS a couple of weeks ago, and though the show itself was dwelling on Sheldon Cooper’s earlier years in Texas, the finale still gave a little sneak peek into how the things are for The Big Bang Theory’s lead characters some time after the original series’ end.
Reuniting young and adult versions of Sheldon, portrayed by Iain Armitage and Jim Parsons, the prequel indeed had a unique opportunity to right the biggest wrong about one of the original characters, but actually made it all even worse.
In Young Sheldon’s finale, Jim Parsons’ Sheldon appears alongside his wife Amy Farrah Fowler, played by Mayim Bialik, as the show sees them discussing their family matters. Finishing his work on his own memoir, Sheldon replies to Amy that back in the day they shouldn’t have allowed Penny,...

Jeopardy! Ken Jennings Questioned About DWTS Stint
When Alex Trebek passed away, the massive search for his replacement began and it was no easy task. The Jeopardy! host was a staple and an icon. Finally, former 74-time winning contestant, Ken Jennings took the reins alongside actress and neuroscientist, Mayim Bialik. Fans seemed to like Ken much more and eventually, Mayim took a leave of absence due to the strikes. This made production see that they only needed one host as opposed to two though they did share hosting duties when...

Jim Parsons is weighing in on the possibility that there could be more of Sheldon Cooper in the future if a sequel to The Big Bang Theory ever materializes.
The actor was recently asked in an interview what it would take for him to reprise the role of Sheldon Cooper.
“Reincarnation,” he said in an interview with E! News. “Next lifetime.”
He continued, “Never say never to anything. Life is long, God-willing, but I don’t think so.”
Parsons portrayed Sheldon in 12 seasons of the CBS sitcom. He recently reprised his role in the Young Sheldon series finale, a prequel to The Big Bang Theory.
“It was very special to do that,” he said. “The feeling today is kind of odd. It’s the second time now because when we ended The Big Bang Theory it felt like this too, a little bit different, but you shoot that final episode...

The Big Bang Theory’s no less successful prequel Young Sheldon officially came to its end several days ago, and fans are already eager to know what the franchise’s creators will be up to next.
Though there’s indeed a plan for yet another spinoff show which now will focus on Sheldon Cooper’s brother Georgie and his family, it still doesn’t get as much of a fuss as when it comes to Sheldon’s figure as a whole.
Now that Young Sheldon is surely over, the titular character’s actor is determined to dispel all the doubts about Sheldon’s future on the screen.
Young Sheldon’s finale was pretty much clear about where the adult Sheldon Cooper stands in life after The Big Bang Theory’s ending back in 2019. The prequel set up a sweet reunion of two versions of the character, portrayed by Iain Armitage and Jim Parsons,...

Seeing Jim Parsons return as the adult version of the eccentric genius Sheldon Cooper has kind of opened fans up to the idea of whether there could be a follow-up to ‘ Big Bang Theory.’
Jim Parsons is here with the answers to the questions we’ve been asking.
Jim Parsons Would “Never Say Never” To A ‘Big Bang Theory’ Sequel, But He Wouldn’t Want Us To Hold Our Breaths For It Either
For 12 fantastic seasons, we watched Parsons portray one of our favorite characters on the comedy show, Sheldon Cooper – the genius who’s managed to outpace the rest of humanity in terms of mental capacity and yet holds such high regards to the fictional ‘Star Wars’ character Leonard Spock.
Since the ‘Big Bang Theory’ ended, Parsons has continued to keep the spirit of his beloved character alive by voicing him on the prequel series ‘Young Sheldon.’ To round up ‘Young Sheldon,...

The Big Bang Theory’s prequel Young Sheldon is now officially over after seven seasons of exploring Sheldon Cooper’s earlier years in Texas, and fans are probably still not over that sweet reunion that everyone was expecting to see in the finale. The show got Sheldon’s original actor Jim Parsons back to the screen, proving that he’s in a good place in life, finishing his own memoir that the character has been narrating all along.
With all the benefits that the decision to conclude the series in this way eventually brought, Parsons himself initially didn’t see that much of a potential for such an ending, but his change of mind actually righted all the wrongs the show has ever had.
Prior to the release of Young Sheldon’s final episode that aired on May 16, the actor revealed that he’d had second thoughts about reprising his role in the ending scene.

Since announcing the Jeopardy! spinoff Pop Culture Jeopardy!, fans are buzzing about who could take the reins of the new show. While both Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik have experience, they don’t seem to be the likely candidates for the new streaming series. While fans may not be able to decide the outcome, they have some very good insight into who the next possible host may be for the modern take on the show.
Jeopardy! Fans Don’t Think Ken Jennings Or Mayim Bialik Will Be The Choice
Since the topic of the new spinoff series Pop Culture Jeopardy!, fans have shown interest in who the newest host will be. While the streaming series targets a different demographic, it is still very inclusive to everyone who wants to challenge their knowledge. However, the categories will shift focus to more modern subject matter such as music, movies, TV, and more.

The Big Bang Theory is without doubt one of the most iconic ensemble cast series ever created. All the main characters of the nerd-centric comedy are relatable and at the same time quirky as hell. All the storylines explored in the series are either strange and really cringey, or sweet and meaningful. And that’s what makes it brilliant.
The main characters of the series are Howard, Leonard, Sheldon, Raj, and Penny. Later some of the new characters were added to the permanent cast and characters like Amy, Bernadette and Stuart appeared a lot more on the screen.
The most interesting thing though is about Stuart. The actor Kevin Sussman first auditioned for the role of Howard, but ended up being a looner named Stuart whose gig was to be miserable. However, in the episode called The Hofstadter Isotope he successfully hit on Penny and ended up dating her for a moment.

The Big Bang Theory owes much of its success to Jim Parsons’ iconic portrayal of Sheldon Cooper, making him a memorable character. The actor’s unique portrayal of the socially awkward character was combined perfectly with his physical comedy and witty one-liners. [Warning: The below contains Major spoilers Young Sheldon‘s Series Finale Episodes.] Young Sheldon‘s long-awaited Big Bang Theory crossover with Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik has finally arrived in the series finale, and with it, some answers to previously dropped Easter eggs and more. While the penultimate episode focused on George Sr.’s (Lance Barber) funeral, the finale installment tracked Sheldon through two different periods of his life, in the days leading up to his (Iain Armitage) arrival at Cal-Tech, and a near-future set a few years after The Big Bang Theory in which he’s (Parsons) writing a memoir. As adult Sheldon pieces together memories from that time in the past, his wife Amy (Bialik) pesters him to get ready for their son’s hockey match, which he’s hesitant to attend. But there’s a full-circle moment to it all as Sheldon reflects on his own father and the positive things about him that he’d previously ...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers Young Sheldon‘s Series Finale Episodes.] Young Sheldon closed the book on seven seasons of prequel magic in two final installments, bidding Cooper family patriarch George (Lance Barber) farewell in the first half and sending Sheldon (Iain Armitage) off to college in the second, while also unveiling a glimpse at future Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and his wife Amy (Mayim Bialik). In the tear-jerking opening installment, George’s funeral unfolded, which was understandably difficult for the family to cope with, including matriarch Mary (Zoe Perry). To fully capture the gravity of the unfolding event, Barber decided to lay in the casket for scenes as different family members delivered parting words for the beloved family member. “We can at once be kind of goofing off between takes and taking selfies, me and Lance… and then also when we’re shooting something and our producers ask me to go even further into emotion. It’s not difficult ...

In an interview with TV Insider, Kaley Cuoco revealed that she didn’t initially get the role of Katie in “The Big Bang Theory” because she was considered too young. When the role was revisited a year later, she was called back to read for Penny.

Young Sheldon’s fans are surely having quite weird days right now given the bittersweet feeling everybody has about the show’s finale set to be released on May 16.
While it still comes as a tearful event as Young Sheldon’s lovers are approaching the moment when they have to say goodbye to the beloved series, at the same time the final episode is something to be really excited about now that it officially marks Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik’s first appearance in the prequel.

Jeopardy! has landed its first streaming spinoff and it is solely about pop culture. Yes, there have been different variations of the hit game show. Yet, it has never been on a streaming service before. So, where can viewers find it and when is it expected to start airing? Keep reading for more details.
Jeopardy! Lands ‘Pop Culture’ Streaming Spinoff
Not everyone is good at the categories offered on Jeopardy! because they can be tough. Some viewers excel at books, history, and classical music but science and old-world monuments are not their forte. Then, there are fans who just enjoy the pop culture categories which is fine. Viewers are immersed and surrounded by pop culture on a daily basis so it would make sense that they may excel at these categories. Fortunately for them, there will be a new variation of the hit game show solely focused on this genre.

In contrast to other forms of media, video games like Borderlands 3 are usually frowned upon, especially by parents who have kids always glued to their screens. Likewise, there have been many arguments over the years stating why the world of gaming is not what people usually perceive it to be, but none might be as convincing as this recent one, where gamers were able to assist a science research, thanks to a minigame.

The Young Sheldon series finale is coming up. While many fans and cast members weren’t ready for it to end, the series looks to do one very important thing in its finale. Throughout the series, The Big Bang Theory fans complained that many things were inaccurate in the prequel’s story. There is a good reason for that.
Here is how Young Sheldon will explain all the inaccuracies in the show compared to what fans knew from The Big Bang Theory.
Young Sheldon Finale Will Explain Inaccuracies From Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon are two very different shows. One of them is a sweet comedy-drama about a family trying to make it past hard times. The other is a more irreverent comedy about a group of friends often dealing with personal problems while making fun of each other along the way.
However, the connective device is Sheldon Cooper.

The Young Sheldon finale is coming. In a surprising move, Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik will appear for the first time in the series. Parsons played Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory. Bialik played Amy, who married Sheldon in that series. While Parsons narrated Young Sheldon, he has never physically appeared in the series.
Bialik has also done some voice-over, but also never physically appeared. That all changes with the finale and CBS revealed how this will happen.

The last two minutes of Young Sheldon Season 7 Episode 12 were inevitable, but we still didn't see them coming.
This was one of the season's most positive, upbeat, and funny episodes... until it wasn't.
The reason George was absent from the family portrait was as shocking for viewers as it was for his family, and that was probably the point.
Death is never an easy subject to tackle, especially in generally more lighthearted series. Before the announcement that this would be Young Sheldon's final season, many viewers hoped that the producers would ignore the backstory in The Big Bang Theory and not include George Senior's death.
They couldn't do that and be the story of Sheldon's early years, though. His father's death is part of what makes Sheldon the way he is as an adult, so it had to be written into the prequel sooner or later.
