That’s why we thought of making a list of the 10 very best sports TV shows that you shouldn’t miss out on.

While, Hulu is not as flashy as some of the other streaming services like Netflix, Max, and Disney+, it has a solid library of shows that are both originals and licensed through various studios. Regarding sci-fi shows, Hulu doesn’t have any big names like 3 Body Problem or Westworld, but it makes up for that by carrying some great new and old shows like Devs and The X-Files, which were loved by millions of people. So, we thought of making a list of the best sci-fi TV shows you can find on Hulu right now.

This summer, Marvel Cinematic Universe regular Chris Hemsworth, best known as the Asgardian demigod Thor, will be heard lending his voice to the animated "Transformers One," the origin story of the friendship turned rivalry between heroic Autobots leader Optimus Prime and the villainous Decepticons leader Megatron. Hemsworth is bringing some star power to the voice of Optimus Prime, who has typically been voiced by Peter Cullen in the classic "Transformers" cartoons and the modern live-action film franchise. But soon, he'll be bringing more than his voice to the toy-based media giant.
Deadline reports that Chris Hemsworth has been cast in the upcoming Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover movie that has yet to be given an official title. The project was officially announced at CinemaCon earlier this year, confirming what was teased at the end of "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" in 2023. However, beyond seeing characters from G.I. Marvel’s divisive era began much earlier than its post-Endgame Phase Four arc and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actor Ming-Na Wen may have just confirmed it on a public platform. The longstanding chasm between the frontrunner of Marvel television and the later Disney+ era has finally found some ground for debate and the Disney legend serves it up on a silver platter.

This article contains spoilers for The Orville, Star Trek: The Original Series, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Featuring broad comedy and characters who don’t seem to be taking their jobs very seriously, the first trailer for The Orville suggested that the Fox series would be a spoof of Star Trek.
In said trailer, Captain Mercer (Seth MacFarlane) tries to eat a marble and asks an alien to move over so he is framed better in the viewscreen. Lt. Gordon Malloy (Scott Grimes) drinks beer while on duty, flying a shuttle, at 9:15 a.m. Commander Kelly Grayson’s (Adrianne Palicki) former marriage to Mercer is treated to rather stale “comic” arguments about going to therapy. Mercer’s reaction to Lt. Commander Bortus’s (Peter Macon) species being entirely male is to observe, with truly cutting and original wit, that they probably don’t have many arguments about leaving the toilet seat up.

Placed amongst the top in every action-movie ranking list, the ‘John Wick’ series has become a global action-thriller phenomenon putting action-superstar Keanu Reeves in a discreet world of hitmen and assassins. The Keanu Reeves-led series that began in 2014 captured the world’s attention with its stylish neo-noir cinematography and intense practical action sequences. Growing its fanbase from the first film, which garnered $86 million globally, to the third film, which ended its theatrical run with a worldwide gross of $327.3 million in 2019, the fourth installment expects to supersede the third film’s place at the top of the box office ranking in the franchise. The Orville, a sci-fi show starring Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Scott Grimes, Penny Johnson Jerald, and J. Lee, among others in primary roles, initially aired on Fox for the first two seasons — Hulu later picked it up for its third season. The show is created (written and directed) by MacFarlane himself and follows the story of a spacecraft called the USS Orville and the employees who work there. But what makes it different from other space-exploring sci-fi flagbearers like Star Trek or Battlestar Galactica? Well, The Orville has this unique blend of MacFarlane’s signature humor, a focus on character-driven...

NBC sees a bright future for Found and The Irrational.
TV Fanatic can confirm that both series have been renewed following decent ratings on the network.
While other networks have buckled under the pressure without much original programming this season due to the strikes, NBC's decision to hold these two dramas for the fall is paying off... big time.
The Irrational kicked off in September and stars Jesse L. Martin (The Flash) as Professor Alec Mercer, who uses his skills in human behavior to help cops solve cases.
They're not your typical cases, which has helped the series stand out in a sea of procedurals.

The Orville has one of the strangest runs in TV history.
The comedy-drama debuted on Fox in 2017 and was quickly renewed for a second season.
The Orville Season 2 launched an entire year on from its freshman finale, which is pretty much unheard of by broadcast TV standards.
Then, the series locked in a 10-episode renewal... with the caveat that it would air as a Hulu exclusive.
However, the wait for fresh episodes was over three years.
Now, 14 months from the end of The Orville Season 3, there have been vague hints about the show's future... until now.
Adrianne Palicki, who has been with the series since its premiere, has seemingly thrown cold water over potential new seasons of the Fox-turned-Hulu show.
While appearing on Michael Rosenbaum's Inside of You podcast, she said, "No, not doing that," when asked about the potential of The Orville coming back.

Actor Adrianne Palicki is one of that select group of actors who has had a foot in both the Marvel and DC universes onscreen. While her DC adventures did not work out so well – she played the title character in an unsold Wonder Woman pilot for NBC and appeared as a villain in an (also unsold) Aquaman pilot for The CW – her time with Marvel was more successful.
Palicki played agent Bobbi Morse, aka Mockingbird, for most of two seasons on Marvel’s ABC-tv series Agents of Shield, appearing in 31 episodes between 2014 and 2016 alongside team partner and ex-husband Lance Hunter (Nick Blood). Morse and Hunter were such a popular part of the ensemble that Marvel TV decided to spin them off at the end of Season 3 into their own series.

Commander Kelly Grayson (Adrianne Palicki) is unarguably the deuteragonist in The Orville. She is ready to go to any length to keep the crew safe and as the First Officer aboard the USS Orville, she works closely with Captain Ed Mercer (Seth MacFarlane), her ex-husband. Despite their chaotic relationship, the former couple accomplished great things on their missions. Portrayed by American Palicki, Commander Kelly Grayson is one of the bravest and most responsible among the crew members. She grew up having big dreams of finding love, becoming a ship captain, and making the galaxy a better place. Commander Grayson did...

Back in 2011, more than three decades after Lynda Carter signed off as the character and some five years before she’d make her big-screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman starred in her own modern-day TV show…well, sort of.
Writer-producer David E. Kelley and Warner Bros. Television managed to sell the idea of a Wonder Woman TV series to NBC, which ordered a pilot. Adrianne Palicki – best known for Friday Night Lights and, more recently, The Orville and Agents of Shield – was cast as Diana, while the supporting players included Elizabeth Hurley, Cary Elwes, and a then largely-unknown Pedro Pascal.
The pilot was shot in early 2011, and although the series was anticipated to be part of NBC’s lineup that fall, the network passed in May of that year.

If you’re one of the many fans waiting to hear about Season 4 of The Orville – the best Star Trek series around that’s not actually called Star Trek – star Adrianne Palicki doesn’t have good news for you right now.
“I mean, there have been talks,” says Palicki, who plays the Orville’s first officer, Kelly Grayson, opposite creator and star Seth MacFarlane’s Captain Ed Mercer. “There have been rumblings about it, but there’s nothing official.”
While Palicki doesn’t have more concrete news about when or if The Orville will follow up its acclaimed third season, she does have some specific ideas about what she’d like to see happen if in fact the title starship does continue its voyages around the galaxy.
“I would like to see Kelly take over as captain,” she says with a laugh. “I mean, she pretty much is anyway. But I don’t know,...

Broken Lizard is back with a historical epic. Okay, perhaps it’s not quite historical or epic. Yet Quasi put a smile on my face for its entire run time. The latest from Jay Chandrasekhar, Steve Lemme, Kevin Heffernan, Erik Stolhanske, and Paul Soter is a charmer. Yes, it’s crude and very silly, and I genuinely enjoyed seeing these fellas go the cosplay route. It also helps that they were smart enough to cast the lovely and talented Adrianne Palicki as their Queen. And if you’d like to check this one out, you can watch it right now, over on Hulu.
Speaking with Adrianne Palicki is always a good time. I recently sat down on Zoom to talk about her latest, and she was happy to chat about working with the guys. She opened up about connecting with comedy and getting the chance to improv along with her co-stars.

In most versions of the classic 1831 Victor Hugo tale, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, the female protagonist is Esmeralda, a French Romani girl who is so beautiful that every major male character in the story either wants to marry her or seduce her. (She’s also only 16 in the novel—a book from over 200 years ago). For all her kindness and compassion, Esmeralda is basically treated terribly throughout the story and finally ends up hanged for a crime she didn’t commit, just as she reunites with her long-lost birth mother.

A colleague of mine, Marc Edward Heuck, once compared the films of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe to 7-Eleven hot dogs. The comparison was meant to be favorable. In both cases, the thinking went, the artisans in question know full well that they are not offering haute cuisine. Instead, the consumer is getting something efficiently constructed, barely flavorful enough, and perfect for a night when the edibles hit a little harder than expected. Broken Lizard's films have never elevated beyond the realm of raunchy, frat boy-style chuckle-fests, but have possessed just enough zingers, oddball gags, and precision-strike profanity to entrench themselves in the friendly cult trench inside the human brain. They possess an affable, thrown-off quality that makes them weirdly appealing, even as the jokes periodically fall flat.

Not to be confused with an adaptation of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” comedy troupe Broken Lizard’s “Quasi” tells a story that’s truer to the Oxford definition of its title than the 1831 Victor Hugo novel that inspired it. Kevin Heffernan settles uneasily into the director’s seat usually occupied by colleague Jay Chandrasekhar for an underdog story more interested in leveraging funny pronunciations of French words for underwhelming laughs than in creating real characters — much less a visual backdrop that doesn’t look like a second-rate Renaissance Faire.
Set in a 13th Century France that narrator and sometime Broken Lizard collaborator Brian Cox helpfully informs us “sucked,” the film centers on Quasimodo (Steve Lemme), a social outcast who works in the torture chambers of King Guy (Chandrasekhar). There, in a search for a cure to his own physical deformity, he develops the hottest, most pain-inducing device on the market,...

The fellas behind Broken Lizard have been bringing the funny for awhile now. From the cult favorite Super Troopers to Club Dread, the comedy troupe continue to bring a bit of joy to fans. You could even find Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme taking on the small screen with the terrific comedy, Tacoma Fd over at TruTV. Yet with their latest, Quasi, they take the sweetness up a notch, and still manage to make you smile. Yes, it’s great to see Kevin, Steve, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, and Jay Chandrasekhar back for another flick together. And they are joined by the terrific Adrianne Palicki. It’s truly a laugh and smile inducing good time.
Recently, I spoke with the crew. For Kevin, Steve, Paul, Erik, and Jay, they talked about how long it took to make Quasi. As well, they revealed who played what, and how they would...

This post contains spoilers for "John Wick: Chapter 4."
It's very interesting going back to watch the original "John Wick" movie now that the titular character is dead. (Until they find a way to bring him back for that fifth film that's on the table). These movies have evolved in some crazy ways from the lower budget, more bare-bones start to the current epic, operatic big-budget insanity that we got in "John Wick: Chapter 4." Wick has always been a guy you don't mess with, but he's so much more stripped down and grounded in the first movie.
The gunplay is on point and, yeah, he can absolutely take out a room full of thugs without breaking a sweat, but he's also not going around with a bulletproof suit, so there's a much greater sense of personal danger for the character in that first movie.
And one of his most...

In the world of John Wick, you simply never know which anonymous face in the crowd is hellbent on trying to kill you or what unexpected ally might suddenly arrive to help you out of a jam. The line between hunted and hunter has never been thinner than it is in "John Wick: Chapter 4." As the reluctant assassin's revenge tour reaches its crescendo, it becomes painfully clear to both Keanu Reeves' Wick and the audience that actions have consequences that ripple out far beyond our hero's grief-stricken shortsightedness. The greatest trick that the fourth film pulls comes from externalizing this idea through the introduction of a new character: Donnie Yen's Caine.
Caine isn't too far afield from the typical secondary villain established throughout the "John Wick" franchise. The first "Wick" sequel had the likes of Adrianne Palicki's Ms. Perkins...

The Broken Lizard comedy troupe returns as they follow in the footsteps of Mel Brooks and Monty Python with a period satire based in medieval France. The trailer for the new Hulu comedy, Quasi, has just dropped from Searchlight Pictures. The troupe, who is known for their past outings, including Super Troopers, Beerfest, and The Slammin’ Salmon, now takes on a satirical look at the famous story of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The official synopsis reads,
A hapless hunchback yearns for love, but finds himself in the middle of a murderous feud between the Pope and the king of France when each orders the hunchback to kill the other.
This film was written by the Broken Lizard crew and is directed by Kevin Heffernan. The comedy is produced by Richard Perello and comes from Searchlight Pictures for a release on Hulu courtesy of their distributing partnership. Quasi stars Jay Chandrasekhar,...

The "Monty Python" film series is something of a legend in and of itself. The franchise is utterly beloved by comedy enthusiasts, and though we've had a lot of great comedic groups come together to make films since — The Lonely Island, anyone? — none have had quite the same spark as those English comics. That said, we may finally get our generation's answer to "Monty Python's The Holy Grail" in "Quasi," a new Hulu comedy that centers on a satirical look at Quasimodo, aka the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
In the film's trailer, we meet Quasi, a hunchback who wins the papal lottery in his village and gets to have his confessions heard by the visiting Pope — a prospect that is seemingly positioned as a way for him to turn his life around with a stroke of a miracle he never expected. Considering this is a comedy from the team that made "Super Troopers" and "Beerfest,...

"In a tale of love, betrayal, and scandal – everyone plays a part, or two." Hulu has revealed the official trailer for Quasi, the latest Broken Lizard comedy created by all five members of the troupe. Produced by Searchlight Pictures, they're dropping this direct to streaming, skipping theaters - but it should be good to grab a bunch of friends for a fun night to watch anyway. Quasi is the story of a hapless hunchback who only yearns for love, who then finds himself in the middle of a murderous feud between the Pope and the King of France when each orders the hunchback to kill the other. The satirical take on Victor Hugo's classic novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame will debut on their usual stoner day, 4/20, next month. The film stars Bl's: Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme (as Quasi), Jay Chandrasekhar, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske, along with Adrianne Palicki and Michael Yurchak.

“Thoughts and Prayers,” an emotional short film that debuted at Hollyshorts Film Festival and made its rounds at numerous festivals, is now available for global audiences to watch for the first time, exclusively on Variety. Zachary Levi and Adrianne Palicki star in the film and also serve as producers alongside John Trefry and the co-founders of the Atx Television Festival, Caitlin McFarland and Emily Gipson.
Per the official logline, “A powerful United States Senator lives out every American parent’s worst nightmare when she receives a call from her teenage son and talks him through the horror of an active school shooting as she desperately makes her way to him, unsure of what she’ll find once she arrives.”

After a delay due to Covid, the third season of The Orville debuted on Hulu last summer, but fans have been anxiously awaiting word of the series’ fate ever since. The Orville isn’t cheap to produce and isn’t exactly a ratings juggernaut, which means that season 4 is far from guaranteed. Still, the sci-fi series has a passionate fanbase and while the possibility of its return may be slight, it still exists.
TVLine‘s Matt Mitovich asked Craig Erwich, President of ABC Entertainment and Hulu & Disney Branded Television Streaming Originals, about the possibility of The Orville season 4. “We don’t have anything to share right now,” Erwich said. “It’s a great show and I know that the fans loved having it back in their lives. And Seth [MacFarlane] did a great job, uniquely as he can, in front of and behind the camera. But we don’t have anything to share right now.

You can run, you can hide, and you can even go out and dry clean your finest bulletproof suit, but none of it will matter because the Baba Yaga is back ... again. In what has become one of the most bloodthirsty sagas of our modern action era, "John Wick: Chapter 4" is set to continue the harrowing adventures of one man simply trying to get out of the assassin game for good, no matter how many headshots and sword fights he has to get through first. Even diehard fans of the original 2014 masterpiece couldn't have envisioned the Keanu Reeves-starring thriller to spawn three sequels and counting. But here we are, over eight years later, looking forward to the fourth installment in a series that serves as the ultimate cautionary tale for reading the fine print whenever you sign on for a new job.

Before Disney+ and Kevin Feige brought television series into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" was a fan-favorite network television underdog. Born out of 2012's "The Avengers," the show followed a team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents assembled by a newly not-dead Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg). Thanks to a strong fanbase, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." survived cancellation multiple times with rallying cries on social media like #CoulsonLives and #SaveAgentsOfSHIELD.

Romance is in the air in the upcoming finale of The Orville‘s third season, including a rekindling for the space vessel’s lead commanders. In the new teaser video (watch below), which was shared by the show’s creator and star Seth MacFarlane on Sunday, July 31, we see characters begin to grow closer. This includes a significant moment at the end of the clip where Captain Ed Mercer (MacFarlane) and his ex-wife, Captain Kelly Grayson (Adrianne Palicki), are seen holding hands while attending some sort of special event. It certainly seems like Ed is having better luck in the romance department than Isaac (Mark Jackson), the AI robot, who is knocked back after an awkward proposition. “I wish to become intimate with you,” he tells Commander Grayson. “If you are unoccupied, perhaps go on a date, followed by sexual conjugation.” This Thursday… the season’s epic journey concludes with...

The Orville: New Horizons Season 3 Episode 8
When Den of Geek spoke to the creative team of The Orville: New Horizons, director Jon Cassar, and executive-producers David A. Goodman and Brannon Braga spoke of how many of the episodes in this third season felt like making small films. There is no doubt “Midnight Blue” is the ultimate example of that creative approach.
This third season has far surpassed the outreach of the previous two outings of The Orville in terms of scope, scale, and more importantly: social commentary. Only three episodes ago, in “A Tale of Two Topas”, the show dealt with an immensely important and topical issue when Topa (Imani Pullum), felt unhappy in their existence. While Topa had the support of one of her fathers, Bortus (Peter Macon), they truly only found themselves when they transitioned to female and once again claimed who she is.

The Orville: New Horizons Season 3 Episode 7
Creator and showrunner Seth MacFarlane is seizing every opportunity with the third season of The Orville. This Hulu streaming renaissance has already proved itself to be the show’s most mature, poignant, and character-driven season to date.
One needs to look no further than the title of this episode to see one of its central messages. “From Unknown Graves” is a line from “The Witnesses,” a poem written in the 19th century by Henry Wadworth Longfellow which outlines the crimes committed in America against slaves.
The central story (as there are many threads within this episode) opens on a gray-alien suburban street. There are two children who are excited when they spot their father’s car pulling into the driveway, asking if he finally brought some coveted gift home to them. The father pushes a...
