If there’s one thing Beth Bice will do, it’s casually drop a bombshell about her marriage to Jamie Thompson.
Most recently she expressed happiness at her pending divorce telling social media followers “My ex can’t beat me anymore.”
This is not the first time the Married at First Sight star has accused Jamie of being abusive.
Back in March, she told an Instagram commenter that her ex-husband gave her two black eyes.
Beth didn’t share specifics, holding off until after their divorce is officially to spill the tea.
She’ll have to hold out a bit longer because their court date, originally scheduled for April, was pushed back after Jamie filed a continuance.
However, that hasn’t stopped the red-haired beauty from occasionally throwing out nuggets of information about their seemingly toxic marriage.

Watching a movie can be a devastating experience especially if it tells about something that everybody is even afraid to think about. In these terms, the most terrifying movies are definitely the ones based on true historical events. Or on the contrary, the ones that follow a story that everybody hopes will never happen in reality.
War movies are the ones that come to mind, but there’s nothing worse than nuclear war movies. And even though it can be tough to follow such stories, it’s important that everybody knows the possible aftermath of events in case they happen.
So Redditors picked 5 movies that serve the purpose.
1. Threads (1984)
This is the movie that is actually credited with being the first to even show nuclear winter. The story centers on two families living in the small town of Sheffield, England, who discover that nuclear war is closer to them than they thought.

The new Superman suit has officially debuted. As filming on James Gunn’s “Superman” (formerly “Superman: Legacy”) continues, the writer-director shared to his Threads account a first look at star David Corenswet in costume as the Man of Steel. The first thing fans might notice is the suit is quite dirty and weathered, which suggests Superman will be doing plenty of down and dirty fighting in the movie.
Gunn added on Threads that the first look photo “was taken on set by Jess Miglio and was entirely in-camera.”
Corenswet is getting the big break of a lifetime as the star of “Superman,” which marks his first time leading a major Hollywood tentpole film. The 30-year-old actor is best known for his supporting roles in two Ryan Murphy-created Netflix series, “The Politician” and “Hollywood.” His most notable film role prior to “Superman” was probably “Pearl,” the Ti West-directed horror movie starring Mia Goth.

Meta has kicked off the week with a pair of announcements that should make its creator community happy. On the Instagram side of the tech company, a new ranking algorithm will surface more original content in user feeds. Meanwhile, on Threads, a new bonus program will open up a new revenue stream for creators.
Instagram’s attempt to promote original posts in its feed has been a years-long effort; in 2022, the factors that inform its ranking algorithm changed to depreciate reposts and content aggregators. The man who announced that update, Instagram Head Adam Mosseri, returned to his social channels on April 30 to reveal his platform’s latest adjustments.
Mosseri explained that Instagram will remove reposted content from its feed by replacing those reuploads with the original videos. The resulting “Direct Replace” posts will include tags that direct viewers to the original creator’s account. Serial aggregators who regularly repost “unoriginal...

James Gunn debunks conspiracy theory that he was planning Superman’s reboot during The Suicide Squad
Filming for James Gunn’s Superman seems to be going smoothly. However, there is still a stigma surrounding the film as fans of the Dceu are still maintaining that Henry Cavill’s Superman should have been given more chances to flourish. However, there is now a theory that Gunn may have forced Cavill and the Decu into the phantom zone when Nathan Fillion gave people the impression that Gunn has been working on his Dcu reboot since 2021’s The Suicide Squad.
According to Deadline, Fillion, a friend of Gunn’s, turned heads when he told an anecdote on Collider, “We were actually at the premiere party after Suicide Squad and he [Gunn] was in a huge crowd of people. …He goes, ‘Hey, did Peter [Safran] tell you what we’ve got for you next?’ I said, ‘No, he hasn’t said.’ He looked around like someone was gonna be listening. Valerie Bertinelli weighed in on Food Network’s move toward reality competition formats Tuesday, lamenting the fact that the home of her former show “is not about cooking and learning any longer.”
The former Valerie’s Home Kitchen host wrote on Threads that she “fell in love with Food Network two decades ago” because of the educational “in the kitchen shows.” She named several examples: Rachael Ray’s 30 Minute Meals, Ina Garten’s Barefoot Conetessa and Giada De Laurentiis’ Giada at Home.

“The list goes on,” Bertinelli continued, saying, “I learned so much. It’s sad it’s not about cooking and learning any longer. Oh well, that’s just business, folks.”
Bertinelli’s post was a response to a thread from cookbook author Marlynn Schotland, who wrote that she missed “actual shows” on Food Network. “Remember those?” she wrote. “Do you know...

When ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ came out, the Dceu was wrapped up and Gunn and Safran’s Dcu took its place. For a long time, we’ve known that the Dcu will follow the MCU’s lead, organizing its movies into phases or “chapters.” The first chapter in the Dcu is called ‘Gods & Monsters.’ The first release in ‘Gods & Monsters’ will be ‘Creature Commandos,’ but Gunn has said ‘Superman: Legacy’ will actually kick off the new Dcu unofficially.

The issue started around 10 a.m. Eastern Time when some Facebook users noticed they were automatically logged out of the social media platform on computers and mobile devices, with no way to sign back in.
Some users thought they might have been hacked, and tried to implement password resets on their accounts, only for the issue to persist. The glitch also caused Instagram and Threads users to be signed out of their accounts, with no way back in for at least an hour.
The situation appeared to resolve itself for most users by noon Eastern Time, though some said they were still having trouble logging into accounts that were protected with two-factor authentication (2Fa) protocols.

After The Daily Show went more than 12 months without being able to find a host to replace Trevor Noah in time to cover a presidential election in which neither major party has been able to find candidates to replace Joe Biden or Donald Trump, the Comedy Central series kicked off a run of fresh episodes with an interim, part-time new host… Jon Stewart.

Add Kevin Hart to the list of comedians who believe awards shows are not the best environment for the craft.

Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign staffer and a co-defendant in the Georgia election interference case involving the former president, has accused Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) and a prosecutor in the case of engaging in an “improper” romantic relationship.
Roman — who is seeking to disqualify Willis and the Da’s office from further prosecuting the case, and for the charges against him to be dismissed — claimed Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade of potentially committing “an act to defraud the public of honest services” based on her...

In his new role as co-ceo of DC Studios, James Gunn has been tasked with building out a cinematic universe that rivals Marvel’s for Warner Bros. His initial slate of films and TV shows, which kicks off with 2025’s “Superman: Legacy,” will incorporate a wide range of DC Comics characters that includes both pop culture icons and rarities known only to hardcore fans. But don’t expect his films to be overflowing with superhero cameos.
In a recent exchange on Threads, Gunn responded to a post highlighting the confirmed cast members for “Superman: Legacy.” The director explained that he actively tried to avoid building a massive ensemble cast, instead focusing on key characters including David Corenswet’s Superman, Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor.
“The whole point was it’s Not a large film — I mean, not in terms of cast,” Gunn wrote. “It...

Doja Cat called out Stan Twitter during an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden that aired on Thursday, telling the radio host that her disdain for the extremely online pop culture subsection of the site was the inspiration of her Scarlet song “Fuck the Girls.”
“It’s me saying fuck Stan Twitter,” Doja said. “There’s that obsessiveness behind it, all the malice towards women in Stan culture. The condescending-ness of people being like, ‘mother, oh my god, queen, mother,’ and expecting them to give and deliver and serve...

Catering directly to my interests, the Criterion Channel’s January lineup boasts two of my favorite things: James Gray and cats. In the former case it’s his first five features (itself a terrible reminder he only released five movies in 20 years); the latter shows felines the respect they deserve, from Kuroneko to The Long Goodbye, Tourneur’s Cat People and Mick Garris’ Sleepwalkers. Meanwhile, Ava Gardner, Bertrand Tavernier, Isabel Sandoval, Ken Russell, Juleen Compton, George Harrison’s HandMade Films, and the Sundance Film Festival get retrospectives.
Restorations of Soviet sci-fi trip Ikarie Xb 1, The Unknown, and The Music of Regret stream, as does the recent Plan 75. January’s Criterion Editions are Inside Llewyn Davis, Farewell Amor, The Incredible Shrinking Man, and (most intriguingly) the long-out-of-print The Man Who Fell to Earth, Blu-rays of which go for hundreds of dollars.

Featuring nine new songs, Evolution was produced by Mike Elizondo. The record comes as a bit of a surprise after Crow said 2019’s Threads would likely be her final album as she turned her attention to sharing standalone singles.
“Everything is more song oriented now with streaming, and making an album is a huge endeavor,” Crow explained in a new statement. “I started sending just a couple of demos to Mike, but the songs just kept flowing out of me and it was pretty obvious this was going to be an album.” She added, “This music and these lyrics came from sitting in the quiet and writing from a deep soul place. Sharna Burgess‘ absence from Dancing With the Stars‘ Len Goodman tribute was a grave oversight that her “family in the ballroom” should have spoken up about, her fianceé and former DWTS partner Brian Austin Green said Wednesday on social media.
“I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed I was for @SharnaBurgess to not be invited for the tribute last night,” Green posted on Instagram. “It’s disappointing as well that note of her ‘family in the ballroom’ stuck up for her or spoke out. She’s an incredible soul and has always been a friend to everyone. She deserved better.

Hollywood is mourning Suzanne Somers, star of sitcoms “Three’s Company” and “Step by Step,” who died Sunday after a long battle with breast cancer. The actor would have celebrated her 77th birthday on Monday, Oct. 16.
Somers was known for her roles as bubbly “dumb blonde” Chrissy Snow in “Three’s Company” and single mom Carol Foster Lambert in “Step by Step.” Somers left “Three’s Company” in 1980 when her request that she be paid the same as her male co-star, John Ritter, was denied. After the end of “Step by Step” in 1998, Somers transitioned to a career in health and beauty, becoming the national spokeswoman for exercise device the ThighMaster. Over time, she built a fitness empire from TV infomercials and an expansion into e-commerce. She also made an appearance in 2015 on Season 20 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Fran Drescher, Kathy Griffin and Barry Manilow are among those who have paid tribute to Somers.

There were many significant Latino artists who shaped the soundtrack of Congressman Joaquin Castro’s childhood when he was growing up in San Antonio, Texas. As a kid, his mother loved Joan Baez; Castro remembers that she would play the folk singer’s 1975 Diamonds and Rust album over and over around the house. He also recalls liking a lot of the Tex-Mex fusion sounds pioneered by the Texas Tornados and Freddy Fender, and he’d even listen to Ricky Martin’s late Nineties pop songs once in a while.

New Delhi, Sep 8 (Ians) Meta’s Twitter (now X) rival Threads has rolled out a “keyword search” feature to more countries, including India, on both mobile and web — which the company started testing in Australia and New Zealand last week.
Along with India, the company rolled out the feature in Argentina, Mexico, the UK, and the US.
“Today, we’ll start rolling out keyword search in English and Spanish, in countries where most people post in those languages — such as Argentina, India, Mexico, the UK, and the US — on both mobile and web,” Meta said in a blogpost on Thursday.
Meta also said that it is “working on bringing the feature to other languages and countries as soon as we can”.
Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg also shared the development in a Threads post.
“Rolling out to most English and Spanish-speaking countries today. More to come soon,” he said.

New Delhi, Sep 7 (Ians) Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk fired former Indian-origin Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal because he was not “a fire-breathing dragon” which the social network wanted in order to thrive, according to a new biography of one of the richest billionaires on Earth.

San Francisco, Aug 29 (Ians) Twitter’s renaming as X by Elon Musk saw its weekly active users drop 4 per cent over the following weeks after the exercise.
The X app fell four spots in the Overall category rankings to No 36 earlier this month as its installs decreased by 8 per cent, according to data from app intelligence firm Sensor Tower. That included a decline across both iOS and Android, down 22 per cent and 18 per cent, respectively.
Average user time spent and sessions on X fell 5 per cent after the rebranding.
“Twitter rebranded to X earlier this week and saw mixed reactions from its users with some notably voicing dissatisfaction with the abandonment of the classic blue bird logo,” said the report.
However, installs for the Twitter Lite app, designed for emerging markets, went up after the name change, reports TechCrunch, citing the data.
Twitter Lite downloads increased, up 50 per cent from the previous time frame.

San Francisco, Aug 20 (Ians) Meta’s Twitter rival Threads has been in steady decline after peaking at around 50,000 daily active users globally on Android devices in early July and now stands at around 10 million.

Threads may not be the “Twitter killer” Meta wants it to be. After reaching 30 million users during its first 24 hours of activity, Threads’ momentum has slowed down. According to a Time article, the number of daily active users (DAUs) on Threads has dropped by 80% since the platform’s peak.
The Time report claims that Threads reached 50 million DAUs on Android devices shortly after its ballyhooed launch. A little more than a month later, about 10 million DAUs are still visiting the Twitter-style app on Android, according to data from Similarweb.
Figures provided by Sensor Tower show a similar decline in Threads’ engagement. The average user is spending about 2.4 minutes per day on the app — another 80% dip from the X rival’s peak.

But first, how did we get here?
On July 23, Doja posted on Threads that she's not cool with her fans' chosen name, Kittenz. "My fans don't name themselves sh*t," she wrote in the now-deleted thread screenshotted and circulated on Twitter (which Elon Musk recently rebranded to X). "If you call yourself a 'kitten' or f*cking 'kittenz' that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house." One fan asked, "What should I change...
