Clayton Hollingsworth: I shouldn't have got you mixed up in all this. It's just so hard to tell Blanche the truth.
Rose: Clayton, you're selling your sister short. Now at times Blanche can be very understanding, compassionate and forgiving.
Blanche: [entering the room] Get away from my baby brother you cradle snatchin', empty headed, two faced dummy!
Rose: And then at other times she can be a real bitch.

Like sister, like brother.
Blanche is super excited when her brother Clayton arrives for a visit. Blanche sets Clayton up on a blind date with a beautiful woman, it isn't a success, Clayton explains the reason for the failed date to Rise.
This show truly was ahead of its time, I'm not sure any other sitcom of this stature back in the late 80's was dealing with subjects in the way that The Golden Girls did.
This is yet another magical, wonderful, funny and sweet episode, terrifiic.
Several wonderful scenes to enjoy here, that moment where Clayton admits his secret to Rose is great, and that scene where the makes his admission about Rose was just a joy. Best of all, Blanche and Clayton's heart to heart, magical.
Sophia steals it with that line, 'the man's as gay as a picnic basket,' hilarious.
Monte Markham was just wonderful as Clayton, hopefully we'll get to see more of him, the stories they could have.
10/10.
