Welcome Back, Class of '66
Above the Top is host to Jan's 20th high school reunion where she reconnects with an old flame; Nancy takes Amy's advice and plays hard-to-get with Howard.
The episode is kind of flat. Kenneth (Kip) Gilman plays Jan's old beau, who wants to go to bed with her, but there's no real "will they or won't they" here. We know the writers aren't going to go there with Jan having been married less than a year.
There is a running gag about a misprint in Jan's old yearbook that misidentified her as a tall black student named Barbara Finkel, and vice versa.
The former class outcast whom everyone called The Mole, shows up as a tall, handsome man who insults everyone for revenge. Dot tries to convince him it's not the way to go.
It is amusing to see Nancy turn the tables on Howard for a change and the part where he first plies her with oysters then eats them himself is funny. Despite his cold demeanor, we learn Howard actually likes the attention.
