The Regretful Engagement
Peter (Michael Callan) has woken up the next morning regretfully remembering that he is now engaged to a wealthy, fun-loving heiress named Felicia Ferris (Marcelle Fortier). Visiting her apartment, busy with associates/servants, he struggles to call off the engagement. Things take a worse turn for him when gossip columnist Charity Parsons (Jane Betts) was typing her column there. Felicia delivers a sculpture to Peter's office where she introduces herself to Mr. Brahms (Jack Collins) as Peter's fiancee. Peter tells his boss that he has known her for a long time and she is delusional and unbalanced. Felicia doesn't accept Peter's insistence that he can't marry her, and forces him to see her kooky analyst Dr. Finsterle (Monte Landis). Therapy certainly brings about change!
An engaging episode with some comedy.
