Zany, madcap, brilliant.
Sleepin_Dragon2 January 2024
Burt is alive, but he's ended up a prisoner on board an alien spaceship, he thinks he's asleep and dreaming, but is very much awake. Jodie receives an unexpected visit from Carol's mother, who brings a surprise.

You can see the way Series three is going to go, hopefully this sets the precedent, very funny.

Just when you think this show couldn't perhaps get wilder, crazier, or any more surreal, it does just that, this knew no bounds, stuck to no rules, but it was absolutely hilarious,

This aliens were side splitting, so funny, loved those eyes, and the fact that they can disco.

Great to see Carol's mother back, still as wacky as ever, that accent is magical. Her accident explains it all.

9/10.

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 48 starts the third season off with a bang,as Burt finds himself captive on a spaceship occupied by pint-sized aliens, one of whom will become his duplicate, returning to Earth to take Burt's place, looking forward to sleeping with Mary("why do you think he's jumping up and down? He has not had sex in 2000 years!") Jodie receives a surprise visit from Carol's mother Mrs.David, who introduces him to his baby daughter Wendy(who is simply adorable).Jessica decides to choose her husband Chester over Detective Donohue, who is so distraught,he can't leave without passing out and throwing up.Both Chester and Donohue join Benson and The Major in an attempted break-in to free Billy from the Sunnies, all disguised in blackface, with The Major making a stirring speech about the medals he received in the line of duty(a rare but welcome occurrence for Arthur Peterson).
