Geu nom-eun meot-iss-eoss-da (2004)
It was a good film
I really liked this film because even though it was full of humour, it did have its cute parts that involved the 2 main characters connecting with one another. It sort of reminded me of "Devil Beside You" (taiwanese TV show) where the boy is tough on the outside and soft on the inside. He gets caught up with a girl who has a very unique personality and forces her to be with him. Da-bin Jeong played a very good role and did put all her effort into it. If you haven't heard, Da-bin Jeong past away this year and when I read about it I was shocked! I can't believe it, a young girl with such great talent for acting could do this to herself. I wish there was someone that could've stopped her before it was too late. All I can say is that she was too young. But all in all it was a really good film and if she were still alive today I would be looking forward to seeing more of her work.
Good Morning, Miss Bliss (1987)
I loved this show and I always will!!!
Oh my God! Zack Morris had to be the cutest guy to hit the saga of the 80s teen idols. And the fact that Mark-Paul Gosselaar was so young was unbelievable! I've seen almost every episode of Good Morning, Miss Bliss and I have to say, Hayley Mills is terrific in this show. I've seen her as a young a young starlet appearing in movies such as the original Parent Trap (which is just as good as the Lindsay Lohan version). I was a big fan of 60s movies, FYI. And whatever happened to Mikey and Nikki? They were great characters, and they coped well with Zack's antics! An besides, I used to have a crush on Mikey(between you and me, Mikey was way cuter than Zack). At least they didn't get rid of Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies), Saved by the Bell would have never been right without her. Oh, and Mr. Belding too! He pretty much a better father figure on the show for Zack than his own father was in both Good Morning, Miss Bliss and Saved By The Bell. And I'm so mad that they got rid of Milo. He was the coolest. Well, all I have to say is whatever you do, never take Good Morning, Miss Bliss or Saved By The Bell of television, even if you keep showing reruns. Without these shows, you would never know what you can expect in junior high?
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988)
My Thoughts on "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak"
I have to say, this is one the best movies that I've ever seen with Aamir Khan. He was so young (and so cute!) in this movie but made a big impression. And I also love Juhi Chawla's role in the movie. She's also so sweet in her roles. But I guess it comes natural to her. I adore the songs in this movie. Especially "Papa Kehte Hain" in the beginning at the College dance. Aamir was a great performer! And the chaperones who danced in the film were great too! If anyone who reads this has not seen this movie and happens to love Hindi movies like me, you have got to watch it! You'll start dancing and singing to the songs and have a blast! Hope you love it as much as me! Bye!
NBC Special Treat: Luke Was There (1976)
My comment on Luke Was There...
I thought that 'Luke Was There' was a great movie. It shows how some kids (orphans) can get around. How their life can be affected horribly in a blink of an eye. The story line was well written and the performance that Scott Baio gave at such a young age was great. And how that made movie made him excel through movies like 'Bugsy Malone' and 'Zapped!' And TV shows like 'Happy Days' and 'Charles in Charge.' And even though he doesn't make that many television appearances, he's still one of my favorite actors to have ever hit TV. And he's really, really, cute in this film. He's such a sweetheart in this film. Who knew that kind of charisma a kid could give in a heartfelt movie like this one. I mean he plays a sneaky kid, but then again, who isn't?
Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas (2005)
Comments on Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas
I really liked that movie. It made me cry! I felt so bad for Matt because he lost his wife and his son, and the boy was only 4 months old! But I'm glad that Suzanne found someone who appreciated her even if the risk of having children is severe. I just felt so sad to see someone go through so much pain. And the fact that at the end of the diary he wrote how he'd rock Nick's cradle at night, though he wasn't in it because he was in the car accident with his mother. And I have to say that I love Christina Applegate, she's a terrific actress! I love all the movies and TV shows she's been in. And the actors in this film were so believable. The emotion they gave was so strong that I could feel the emotion that the character was portraying. I give this film a straight 10 out of 10 because I haven't seen a film that was made throughout the millennium that I've enjoyed this much.
