Rock n' Roll ain't never gonna die....is it?
Interesting documentary on the beginnings of rock music containing many clips of pioneering bands in concert footage, musicals, and movies. I was impressed with the number of rock music films that were done back in the 50's and 60's, most of which I had never heard. Many of them seemed to follow a similar format showcasing several popular singers built around a hinky dinky plot of teens doing their own thing while the parents go all woebegone over the world coming to an end due to the evil music. Too many big stars to name them all, and many were passed over rapidly, but suffice it to say if you want a nice overview of the early years this is good film to watch.
