Sometimes, America’s Got Talent has some contestants who shock the panel. That happened this week when a young 13-year-old girl from India came out with a big smile and the comment that her stomach was upset because she was so nervous. However, when she returned to the stage, she horrified Simon Cowell and the other judges.
Here is what she did and why she still earned four yes votes and moved on to the next round.

America’s Got Talent judge, Simon Cowell saw thousands of acts in his life and this week, he saw one that he described as one of the “most difficult” that he’s seen in a “long time.” Instead of being bored, his skepticism turned into amazement as a dancer put a new spin on her talent.
Simon Cowell Watched An ‘Impossible’ Act On AGT
When a contestant surprised the long-time talent boss, he wore his new tinted sunglasses that protect his eyes from the lighting on AGT. While they shaded his eyes, nobody could mistake his nervous apprehension as a contestant on America’s Got Talent performed a difficult act. While it took a few attempts, the dangerous act concluded successfully.

Netflix made some noise in the unscripted world when it hired Jeff Gaspin, the former NBCUniversal chief, as its new defacto reality boss earlier this year.
The hire ostensibly signaled that the streamer wanted to step up its unscripted efforts and take on the broadcast networks when it comes to buying big entertainment formats.
During his time as NBC’s head of alternative entertainment, he developed series including The Apprentice, The Biggest Loser and Deal or No Deal and after his promotion, his last act as Chairman of NBC Universal Television was buying The Voice, which other than The Masked Singer, was arguably the last major entertainment format to breakthrough on the broadcast nets.
Netflix is now doubling down on efforts to find its version of The Voice.
“The difference from the past is we want to focus on bigger formats, more of what you would call broadcast-style shows versus the cable style shows.

The confetti. The tears. The hugs. Admit it: you just can’t get enough of those emotional Golden Buzzer moments on “America’s Got Talent” … and neither can we. This twist was first introduced on the U.S. version of the worldwide talent competition in Season 10, and it’s been an integral part of NBC’s reality TV show ever since.
Throughout the auditions, the four “AGT” judges (and the host as of Season 11) get to press the Golden Buzzer for an act that moves them emotionally, which sends the performer straight through to the live shows. During the now-defunct Judge Cuts round, guest panelists were allowed to push the button as well for their favorites. At the start of Season 18, Simon Cowell announced that there’d be an audience-voted buzzer for an act that wows the crowd. In Season 19, a new twist allowed the judges to each press their buttons twice during the auditions.

Kathie Lee Gifford says she has forgiven Howard Stern after she received phone calls from the radio show apologizing profusely. “It was a surprise to get a voicemail from Howard Stern,” the 70-year-old recalled to Fox News Digital. “Once I listened to it, I said to my kids at the table, ‘Well, pigs have now officially flown.'” Stern and Gifford’s feuding first began in 1995 after Gifford was booed during her performance of the national anthem at Super Bowl Xxix. Her husband, NFL legend Frank Gifford, was hosting the live event. She later learned that Stern had told his fans to boo Gifford when she was introduced on stage, despite the two having never met in person. Years later, their paths crossed as Stern was a guest on Today to announce he was joining the panel of judges on America’s Got Talent in 2012. In her new book “I Want...

But when it comes to the bad auditions, you either want to look away in embarrassment or laugh out loud! Imagine being a judge and having to experience that firsthand. Over the course of the past few decades, Simon Cowell has seen a plethora of talent as well as some truly bad auditions. We’ve spoken to Cowell many times over the years, and on one occasion, he opened up about how he reacts to both good and bad auditions. He admitted that while he has a good time with the auditions overall, when faced with a bad act, he’s always going to be blunt and honest (because that’s the Simon Cowell we’ve come to know and love). You can always count on mother-daughter duo Heidi Klum and Leni Olumi Klum to bring glamour to any red-carpet event they attend. The 2024 amfAR Cannes Gala red carpet was no exception, as they dazzled in contrasting ruffled gowns that set them apart from a myriad of A-list stars.
Their presence instantly captured me when they stood for photos on the red carpet. Supermodel Heidi Klum nearly overshadowed her daughter in an ostentatious peach-colored gown. But Leni, a budding model in her own right, isn’t one to back down, commanding attention in a black see-through mesh gown.

Another Season of American Idol has come and gone. Season 22 crowned winner Abi Carter Sunday night, and judge Katy Perry bid the show farewell. Perry sat at the judges’ panel for seven seasons alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
Following 15 seasons on Fox, ABC revived the singing competition series in 2018. The show began in June 2002, and it launched careers of musicians like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and more. A different trio of judges — Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul — helmed the show at the start alongside host Ryan Seacrest — who has shepherded the show through all of its changes.
ABC has not yet announced who will replace Perry as a judge and join the ranks of past and present celebrity judges. Below, find a list of all the judges in American Idol history.

Comedian and actor Nick Offerman kicked off his Thursday night show at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre with a cheeky song about he was going to “keep it PG-13” for the night. While the sentiment didn’t last too long, the songs sure did.
The show, titled Nick Offerman and Friends vs Climate Crisis, was part of the Netflix is a Joke Fest that has taken over Los Angeles for the last week, and was put on in support of environmental non-profit Natural Resources Defense Council (Nrdc).
A known outdoorsman, Offerman told the crowd he was a “huge fan” of the organization before jumping into his opening song, but not before offering the non-profit a quick suggestion for what the night’s funds should be used towards. “I want to hope they’ll use some of the proceeds from tonight to think tank a flashier name,” Offerman joked with audience.

Fremantle revenues dropped 9.2% in the first quarter of 2024 to €395m, with parent company Rtl blaming ‘timing effects’ of show deliveries in the UK, Italy and Germany for the fall.
Rtl said it was confident Fremantle will make up the shortfall in the second quarter, citing the delivery of productions such as the second season of The Responder and new thriller series Nightsleeper for the BBC in the UK as well as season 19 of America’s Got Talent for NBC in the US.
