Graduated from NATFA (National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts) in Bulgaria in 2011, Ivo is half Russian/half Bulgarian. Latest projects are Disney movie "The Princess" with Joey King and "Hitman's wife Bodyguard 2" with Ryan Reynolds. Kate is an international Bulgarian actress with great credits in theatre, television, and film.
Her recent film credits include "The Red Sonja," "The Barbarian," and "The Piper," where she starred alongside Charlotte Hope and Julian Sands.
Fluent in multiple languages and a graduate of the prestigious Drama Centre London, Kate has taken on classical roles such as Nina in "The Seagull" in Moscow and Imogen in "Cymbeline" at Shakespeare's Globe in London. She also portrayed Penelope in "The Odyssey" on a world tour for the Drama Theatre Plovdiv.
In television, Kate has appeared in the CW series "Pandora" in the US, ITV's "Plebs" in the UK, and several Hallmark films including "An American in Austen" and "A Paris Proposal." In Bulgaria, she is well known for her lead role in the comedy series "Dads" (BTV).
Kate has worked on major productions with notable actors like Monica Bellucci, Diane Kruger, and Daisy Ridley. Her performance in the award-winning indie short "Debris ESCOMBROS" in Los Angeles got great reviews and her role in the European film "Dyad" was a festival favorite.
Kate has been recognised as one of the major upcoming international talents coming out of Bulgaria recently.- Yasen Peyankov was born in Varna, Bulgaria and went to the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. He arrived in the United States in 1990 and very quickly found his place as an actor in the vibrant off-Loop theatre scene in Chicago. In 1992 he co-founded the European Repertory Company with Dale Goulding where for the next 10 years he produced, directed or acted in over 20 productions.
His first break was landing a part in Time to Burn at Steppenwolf Theatre in 1997. He was invited to join the legendary ensemble in 2002. He has appeared in 18 productions at Steppenwolf. Some of his notable appearances at Steppenwolf include: Penelope; Pillowman; Three Sisters; Superior Donuts; The Tempest; Cherry Orchard; Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune; The Time of Your Life (also Seattle, San Francisco); Lost Land; Hysteria; Morning Star (Jeff Award for Best Supporting Actor). On stage he has also appeared in productions at Goodman Theatre, Court Theatre, European Repertory, Next Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and made his Broadway debut in Superior Donuts in 2009.
His Steppenwolf directing credits include The Fundamentals, Between Riverside and Crazy (Jeff Nomination for Best Production), Grand Concourse, Russian Transport, Hushabye for First Look and The Glass Menagerie for Steppenwolf for Young Adults. He also translated and directed the Bulgarian premiere of August: Osage County at the National Theatre in Sofia in 2011.
Some of his many film and television appearances include Captive State, Chasing Gold, A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas, Contagion, Transformers 3, Crime Fiction, The Company, The Mob Doctor, The Beast, Gifted Hands, Karen Sisco, Alias, The Practice, The Unit, Numb3rs. He has also translated and adapted Russian plays by Anton Chekhov, Mikhail Bulgakov, Nikolai Kolyada, Alexander Galin and Vassily Sigarev, all of which developed into productions. He is the recipient of a Jeff Award and two Jeff Nominations, Fox Fellowship and is the Head of Theatre at the School of Theatre and Music at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he teaches acting and directs plays. - Hristo Petkov is a Bulgarian actor. Graduated the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia,Bulgaria. Known for his work in The Hitman's Bodiguard (2017), Humble (2021), In the heart of the machine (2022) and Zift (2008). As well as his performances in the television series The Forth Estate (2013) the last season of Undercover (2016) and his role in The Devils Throat (2018). Very active on stage. Notable theatrical performances include Ivan Karamazov, Claudius , Laertes and Poprishtin. Since 2011 he is an actor at The National Theatre Company in Sofia.

Desislava Ivanova Tenekedjieva , better known as Dessy Tenekedjieva is a Bulgarian actress, singer and producer. She was a wife of director Stoyan Kambarev. After his death she founded in 2009 on whose name a foundation and the prize for art. To 2010 she is the only Bulgarian actress with a starring role in a film of official selection at the Cannes Film Festival. Dessy Tenekedjieva was born on April 12, in Varna, in the family of Bulgarian and Ukrainian Jew. Her father is an engineer, her mother is a teacher of French. As a child Dessy was practicing gymnastics and tennis. She completed his secondary education in Varna. He continued his education at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria , where she graduated "Puppet mastery " in the class of Professor Nikolina Georgieva. In 1987, she debuted as a child in cinema with the film " Forbidden for Adults ," directed by Plamen Maslarov. In the coming years she participated in over 30 Bulgarian and international films. She played in the cult of Bulgarian theater shows as " Master and Margarita " by Bulgakov , directed by Teddy Moskov and "Three Sisters " by Chekhov , directed by Stoyan Kambarev. She was married six years to Kambarev, with whom she has a son - Joseph. In 1998, her husband suddenly died. In 2009, the actress became co-founder and president of the Art Foundation "Stoyan Kambarev" that served on behalf of an annual award for art. In 2001 she was invited to play in the movie " Craft Weapons " ( , Il mestiere delle Armi , director Ermanno Olmi ) in the title role of Marie de Medici.
