Nancy Sinatra returns to "Laugh-In"s last show of the '60s which introduced Lily Tomlin
Since this was "Laugh-In"s last show of one decade, it seems fitting that the show would do a salute to it by doing an entertaining production number that mention many things that happened during it and which includes solo pieces of impressionist David Frye doing not only Lyndon Johnson but also Richard Nixon including him saying "Sock it to me?" Once again, Nancy Sinatra guests on the show doing the skits with many in the cast. Her brother Frank Jr. does some cut-ins commenting on her. Also appearing in those are Ed McMahon and Guy Lombardo. And then there's new cast member Lily Tomlin already doing Ernestine the telephone operator whose first running skit is amusing that becomes much funnier with each subsequent one. She also plays a lady who dithers when talking. There's also some leftover skits with Judy Carne. In summary, this was quite a historic ep of "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In".
