When Priscilla first arrives to Graceland, Elvis's grandmother opens the door for her, leaving it open as she embraces Priscilla and exits the shot. When the shot cuts to show Priscilla approaching Elvis and his friends, the open door has closed despite no one closing it.
In scene where Elvis meets Priscilla's parents, Elvis is wearing the Private rank (E-2) on his shoulder. In reality Elvis should have been wearing the Specialist rank (E-4) as he obtained that rank in June 1959, three months before meeting Priscilla. He would then get promoted to Sergeant (E-5) in February 1960, one month before leaving Germany.
The white RCA console television they watch Elvis's special on is a black and white tube. It was never available with a color tube.
Priscilla is shown practicing karate with her gi folded right over the left side. In martial arts, the gi is always worn folded left over right, the exception being when someone dies and the right is folded over the left at the funeral.
The food pyramid is mentioned while Priscilla was in school in Germany. The first food pyramid was not published until 1974.
The title superimposed over the opening scene is "US Air Force Base West Germany 1959" over an image of a 50 star flag. This should have been a 48 or 49 star flag. Although Hawaii had been admitted to the union on August 21, 1959, the new flag was not officially raised until July 4, 1960.
Priscilla's teacher asks the class to name the "four food groups" and then asks which is at the bottom on the "food pyramid." These are two different, conflicting, nutritional guides. The "food pyramid" wasn't invented until 1972 and not popularized in the USA until 1992.
