Echo (2023)
Authentic, Unique and Properly Woke
The MCU has had a rough patch lately. There have been ups and downs with their movies and series as of late, but this was definitely a major up. I could see how some people would have some issues with this series, but from a narrative perspective, I am all for it! Issues tackled in this story are intensely embedded with layers of greater perspectives, such as colonization, Native American adversity, and strong family bonds. Careless of the fact that the protagonist actress is actually deaf and an amputee, she does an amazing portrayal of Maya and totally sells the role at each turn. Props and cudos to the MCU for consulting with Native American tribes on their projects for an accurate depiction of their history. I am all about this portion of the true "woke" movement, which is a move into the right direction and into a better future.
Dopesick (2021)
Cold Blooded Truth
This movie hits.so many accurate points. This really paints the truth of corporate oligarchs and the atrocities they constantly get away with in this world, especially the "Big Pharma". These corporations are worse than Cartels because they make themselves look like they're something they're not and utilize the most deceptive methods in doing so. It was refreshing to see the dark and unfiltered truth about such a despicable reality.
The characters portrayed are genuine and in depth. Just about any family out there, from all levels of society, could relate to the topic of pain, addiction and grief. This series covers substance abuse and addiction, addiction to money and power and narcissistic overlord behavior. If any biased was shown it was only to highlight the pure darkness that of the underbelly Big Pharma and its unlimited lengths and resources to achieve their goals and agendas. One of the best, and most honest, series I have ever seen! In today's world, we need more of this.
The Lodge (2019)
Poor plot, bad delivery and Nonsense.
There was no sense to any plot points of this film. There was very poor character development, irrational decisions made by every character and the cheap sudden scare tactics was the only."jump" scenes in it. It was bland, boring and far more frustrating than scary.
This makes a good video for what horrible parenting looks like and the messed up kids that come due to their terrible choices and actions. The mom, who we know nothing about, takes her life early on; only six months later the dad, who is relative to a non-player character in a video game, guilts his children to go on a vacation with his soon-to-be mentally ill wife. The children play some completely insane pranks on her, after the dad abandons them for 2 days in a snowed in cabin in the woods. This wouldn't even make a half decent twilight zone or outer limits episode. This was a complete waste of time and this review is the only venting and solace I have found to relieve that.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
The past belongs in the past
It's a shame to see so many classic movies have these drawn out, poorly written stories that do not fit in with previous narratives. The original Trilogy was perfect the way it was, and the last two Indy movies have felt forced and more like click bait. This felt like it was the tenth version of a plot that could have worked in so many other way. For instance, the time travel going to a time that was never relative to any other Indy adventure; this was nonsensical and could have been done so many other ways. Indy could have gone back to a time relative to another story plot, or even go back to each previous movie and have a true nostalgic feel. The time travel aspect came in way late in the plot and it made 3/4 of the movie feel like a lead up. This movie was just another example of why classic movies should be left alone. Hollywood seriously needs some new content. Leave the legends alone.
Batman: The Animated Series: Heart of Ice (1992)
Profound and Depth Beyond Measure
Many moons ago, as a young teenager, I saw this episode and, more so, felt it. I immediately recognized the genius of the writing, story and depth of the character. The moment I saw it, I was changed, as if a spiritual, alchemical transformation had occurred. This episode forever stayed with me, and its profound lessons have echoed on in my life, my character and my actions. The Spirit guided the hands of the creators of this masterpiece.
To those that don't feel a certain affinity to this episode, I highly encourage you to do some serious exploration and see just how this narrative echoes the truth about the enemies we face and how sincerity will always aid in our guidance to adversity; especially when facing the most worthy adversary we will ever face, our Self.
The 27 Club (2019)
Not bad for low budget
Indy and low budget type of film. The acting wasn't great but bearable. The 27 club anomaly was portrayed well I think, being that a lot of rock stars did in fact engage in occult and dark rituals. A very likely scenario and reality for many musicians is paying their debts with their lives.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Felt rushed.
The movie was good but with many feature films being longer, I felt this one needed to be as well. There was little to no character development, and movie itself felt rushed. The MCU series might be ruining the movies in the sense that more time is given to get emotionally involved with what is going on. The third Spiderman movie wasn't guilty of this and had far more character development. This was one of those movies that was good but should've been much better. The trailers also gave away too much of the plot. Leave some more room for surprise.
Preaching Evil: A Wife on the Run with Warren Jeffs (2022)
Be innocent as doves but wise as serpents
It's such a sad and cruel shame how much evil has been, and is being done, in the name of God. In this inverted reality we need to stay grounded in the truth. Endure until the end and pray for discernment. Before we throw stones, come at false doctrine with kindness and humbled. Misguided religions and cults have always been around. We need to seek the truth at all costs and recognize just how fallen we are in this state of reality. May God help us all.
Matthew 7:15 (KJV) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009)
Fascinating Tale, Symbolic Truths Throughout
Riddled with occult symbolism, this tale gets into your psyche. Secret society truths of benevolent foundations that turn out to be nefarious, and spiritual and biblical references throughout; this story overs how seling one's soul could affect the world.
Shadow Government (2009)
Reality is stranger than fiction
Look at the year this was made, and look at the current state of affairs 2021. Conspiracy theories are now reality. Wake up and come unto Jesus Christ and stay in the scriptures. May God bless us all.
The Chosen (2017)
Best show, best time..God is always on time!
Hands down my favorite t.v. Show. I am recently born again and greatly appreciate this series. Every episode leaves my heart tender and holy spirit enriched. Excellent acting and great story telling. Everything about this series is magnanimous! GOD bless this and all involved.
God's Not Dead 2 (2016)
Religion vs State
Another excellent example of the State vs. Church/Religion/God based faith. I have always been spiritual myself, believer of God and Jesus Christ. I have recently whole heartedly devoted myself to Christianity and the persecution prophesied by Jesus Christ for being his follower is all too real. The 40 years I have been alive I have seen the ever growing seperation of State and God occuring in the U.S. I am a patriot and decorated combat veteran, and this seperation has me sickened. This movie is an excellent sequel that outlines this issue, and restores hope and faith to those in the darkness. It also strengthens hope in faith in those who follow Jesus Christ. I thought it was very well delivered and if it seems directionally in favor of Jesus Christ, that's because it is and rightfully so. After all, that is the basis and theme of the movie and it's predecessor.
The Social Dilemma (2020)
Truth. Absolute.
I love hearing the truth and honest, heart felt opinions from people that work in the industry, and played a role in its success. The well positive message is underlying, and the opposing views I feel are expressed sufficiently. If this seems like its aiming at a shared desire, I promise it's a positive desire.
Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru (2016)
Heartwarming and Genuine.
You can feel the authenticity from Tony and those who spoke. Watching how Tony evaluates, digests and understands people and their needs is impressive. You can see how sharing his light improves the world, helps so many and brings Tony joy being aligned with his higher self. Inspiring and moving!🙏🏽👍🏼👍🏼
Alien Artifacts: The Lost World (2019)
Open your mind and eyes.
I thought this was an excellent and informative documentary. Many of these opinions feel like the truth and I believe that anyone who really dislikes this are close minded, and suffering.
Missing Links (2017)
I love hearing the truth
I am tired of hearing the lies of society and mainstream academia. I can feel the truth in this show. God bless.
Pay It Forward (2000)
2020 Needs this
If ever person in the world watched this movie today, the world would be a better place tomorrow.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)
What a Beautiful Movie!
I can relate to many topics in this movie and to how the protagonists feels, and what he goes through. I am in the process of writing my autobiography, and have written and self published two books so far this year (2020). I found this movie at the perfect time, rather it found me, universal serendipities. This movie is a great metaphor for life, in general. I love everything about this film and found it lighthearted enough, but deeply impactful. A great watch!
Cloud Atlas (2012)
The Meaning of Life.
A story that will lead you to the deepest truths, those that are infinite and repetitive in nature. If you vibrate at a high enough frequency, this movie will resonate with you in a special way. The topics and universal truths covered are felt in a special place to those who are ready to receive it.
An Artificial Reality (2018)
Brave and Insightful
I believe that the information delivered in this is very, very accurate and I give credit for this being released. I believe it is brave because it goes against the mainstream societal views, if such a thing exist, and I feel like this truth goes unspoken by far too many. This is a great "woke" video to how society operates.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020)
Great Story..New Twists
I love new content and different renditions of heroes. All of the heroes and this entire storyline was really interesting and awesome! I honestly loved everything about the story and found this movie highly entertaining! I am a huge fan of DC's animated movied and they rarely disappoint. 👍👍
Mandy (2018)
Unique butterfly in a storm
Incredibly unique and original. Nicolas Cage is brilliant and the cinematography was excellent!
How to Be Single (2016)
It's a memory of a loved one
The movie itself is good but this movie will always bring a whirlwind of emotions for me because I saw it with my aunt, who is no longer with us. She was like a mother to me, which is more than a mother to me because I do not know my biological mother. Anytime I ever see this movie, my aunt with always be with me. 🙏🏽
Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics (2020)
Decent but nothing new
Fun, entertaining and mostly humorous, but no new information is presented here. The information also presented is limited and non descriptive. It's mostly a collection of fun acid stories from celebrities. I enjoyed the documentary Neurons to Nirvana much more.
Caroline in the City (1995)
Good Rewatch Value
I just rewatched this series, first time since the 1990s, and I probably love it more now! The comedy is great, the characters are even better and the staffing couldn't have been better. A positive, cult classic.
