- Mickey gets a package from Australia: a kangaroo, complete with boxing gloves. The 'roo moves into Pluto's brand new doghouse, much to his annoyance (which we actually hear voiced). Mickey gives the big 'roo a boxing workout, while leaving Pluto with the joey. Pluto gets into some old bedsprings, and bonds with the tot. Meanwhile, Mickey is getting pummelled.
- The first movie version, from the age of black&white, of Flemish (heimat-)author Ernest Claes' classical novel, titled after the nickname (Dutch 'the White', referring to a blond male) of the main character: a smart but naughty farmhand's son whose eternal mischief, pranks and disobedience drive his elders (especially teachers, family and father's grumpy employer, a rich farmer) and classmates to despair in a time when a boy's punishment was still inevitable, swift and often severe.

- This film is a short documentary about Antwerp. Comments are read by J. Modest Lauwereys. The documentary premiered as a short film, accompanying "Een aardig geval" (1941), in cinema Rex (Antwerp) on September 19, 1941. The exterior shots of the port of Antwerp, where it was not allowed to film during the war for security reasons (possible espionage), date from before World War II.
- When a woman receives flowers, her husband gets upset. He leaves the house to listen to music in a record shop. The story is an excuse to create an escapist musical short film during the war.
- As in the entire series of short films "Mr. Dingemans en Mme. Babbel", smuggling plays a role in the story. Mr. Dingemans meets Mme. Babbel, carrying contraband. Fearing the inspectors, she gives away everything.
