- Three petty felons have a documentary made about their life in a trailer park.

- Married couples unable to conceive are thrilled to find they are going to become parents, thanks to a larger-than-life "miracle doctor" and his unusual treatments. However, joy soon turns to outrage with the discovery that the physician has taken bizarre and inconceivably unethical means to deceive his patients. In some case, the doctor deliberately misled couples into falsely believing they might have a chance to become pregnant when they could not. In others, the twisted physician actually served as a "secret donor," fathering countless children himself. Outraged by these shocking discoveries, one couple leads a seemingly impossible fight to keep hopeful families from being victimized again.
- Elizabeth is married to Thomas, a prominent doctor. He has been abusing her. One day while out with a client named John Davis, he tells her that he was hired by Thomas to kill her. It seems that she wants a divorce and Thomas would rather see her dead than let her leave him. Now John observed her before actually doing it and discovered that she was not the woman Thomas described, so he decides to help her. He wants her to pretend to be dead so that when he gets his payment, he could get Thomas to incriminate himself on tape. Though uncertain at first, she realizes that he is telling her the truth. But she finds it unbearable to be away from her children and Thomas doesn't pay John right away. So she has to pretend to be dead longer than expected.
- Will Loomis lives with his mentally-handicapped sister Violet, who wants a younger child to play with, so Will kidnaps one (and then another) child from the local children's home and tells them they're dead and have gone to heaven. Will and Violet try to make their farm a little piece of heaven for the kids, while the authorities wonder what has happened to the kidnapped children.
