- Mutt puts Jeff in a dog costume so they can win at the dog show but all of the dogs are captured by an evil butcher who wants to make them into sausages.

- Mutt and Jeff own and operate their own firehouse. Mutt believes where there's smoke, there's fire, which gets them into an early scrape. But they are called to an actual fire of a several storied residential building. A frantic woman asks them to save her baby who is located on the top floor of the burning building. Their first problem is how to get up to the top floor, which Jeff inadvertently figures out how to do. But other distractions plus trying to find the baby through the thick smoke may be obstacles in achieving their mission. But something that the woman doesn't tell them may be the biggest hurdle.
- Policemen, babies, nursemaids, firemen and everybody has an attack of the "shimmies." Even a dog Joins in the new dance.
- Jeff is to play the champion bowler for the championship, but upon accidentally being knocked out by Mutt, is unable to bowl. So the little fellow takes his place and, after making the balls do some clever tricks, wins the game.
- When Mrs. Mutt goes out for the evening, Mutt and Jeff arrange a visit to the local bar.
- Mutt and Jeff permit themselves to be hypnotized by a street practitioner, who makes Jeff think he is a dog and Mutt believe he is a cat, but the hypnotist is arrested before undoing his work.

First, they prevail upon the Crown Prince to become one of their patients, and their treatment of him is so effective that the greatest long-distance fighter in the German Army persuades his father, the All Highest, to sit in the new dentists' chair. That is what the dentists are waiting for, and shortly after Mutt gets the forceps on the Kaiser's pet molar the audience in any given theatre will be allowed to stand up, and in slow, measured tones chant that ditty: "Good-bye, Kaiser Bill!"
- Mutt takes a customer's order literally and puts a kitten in the pousse café. A riot follows in their cabaret as a result.
- Mutt and Jeff visit sunny Spain, where a practicing toreador employs them to impersonate a bull.
- Mutt and Jeff proceed to water the circus elephants, but the pail-by-pail method seems too slow for Mutt, who fits the end of a hose over an elephant's trunk and turns on the stream. The beast swells up as big as a house and when the pressure is turned off the water shoots from his trunk and washes everything away, including Mutt and Jeff.
- Mutt and Jeff visit a circus and on the merry-go-round Mutt gets on a live goat instead of a lion and the maneuvers that he and Jeff go through in an effort to shake off the goat lands them a year's contract with the circus for the great performance they give. The goat eats the salary given them by the manager.
