- A landlady suspects that her new lodger is the madman killing women in London.

- A young man happens to have the same name as a famous steeplechase jockey, and when he finds out that people keep mistaking him for the jockey (although he's never been on a horse in his life and is actually terrified of them), he plays along with it, even going so far as to wear the same kind of racing togs that the real jockey wears. Eventually things get out of hand, and before he knows it he's forced to substitute in a race for the real jockey--and finds out that the horse he's supposed to ride is a ferocious beast called Hottentot.
- Jenny works in the kitchen of a luxurious hotel and is in love with Jean, the charming headwaiter. But the latter has his eyes on Lola, the hotel dancer, who is kept by a senile millionaire. Jenny manages to get Jean to come see her and stupidly steals a champagne bottle for the occasion. When someone rats her out, she escapes through the corridors aimlessly and ends up in the dining room where, through the whim of a rich foreigner, she has to perform a comedy act for the crowd. It is an instant success and brings her fortune. Jean will soon realize that he loved her all along.

- Sensational adventures of a young lady with her baby, born out of wedlock. Marrying the father, she discovers his worthlessness. George Barry, returning after two years' absence , finds that Marie, the daughter of wealthy parents, whom he still loves, is a mother. The father of the child, Serge Ricard, is a loafer , and though he makes no effort to do his duty towards Marie, she goes to him. Through a friend a post is offered him in the Argentine, on condition the couple marry. The benefactor is really the faithful George. The liner is wrecked, Serge perishes , but Marie is saved. Believing her child to be drowned, she loses her reason. The little one, however, has been rescued by some Chinese jugglers. George, as guardian angel, brings happiness. A considerable variety of settings are presented, including the beautiful home of Marie's parents, scenes on the liner, and realistic hospital interiors. The Decorative Arts Exhibition and the performance by Chinese jugglers are outstanding features.
