Karan chivalrously offers to make the trip home with her and tell her father that she was forced to lie to him to avoid an early marriage. Along the way, Sahiba falls in love with Karan but he is still starry-eyed about his model. They arrive in Palanpur and Karan soon endears himself to Sahiba's extended family that includes her father, his three younger brothers, their wives and Biji, Sahiba's doting grandmother. Only Yagvendra refuses to accept his son-in-law, who he is convinced is after Sahiba's crores. Karan, who's never had a family of his own, is easily drawn into the warmth surrounding him and life is fine till one of Sahiba's aunts mistakenly assumes that Sahiba's expecting and spreads the word around. Suddenly, even Sahiba's grim father is grinning and life's a bed of roses again for Sahiba, who begs Karan not to leave her ever. Karan on his part finds himself falling in love with his enchanting wife-who-isn't and scared of a future he hasn't planned for, slinks off into the night to meet Nisha. But Nisha is already married and convinces him that Sahiba is his true love and he should return to Palanpur. He does to find that Yagvendra Singh and his family now want to have nothing more to do with him. Sahiba's father wants her to start a new life with Rai Bahadur's son but at the engagement ceremony, Sahiba recognizes him as the murderer she had fled from in the city. She tries to warn her father about his friend and her fiancé but Yagvendra is deaf to all her pleas. However, his younger brother Raunak sides with Karan and tries to prevent the marriage from taking place. But Sahiba believing all is lost, consumes poison before her Romeo can reach her.

He tries to kill Raj; on failing, he sends him to jail and goes to kill Priya.

- Police Inspector Shekhar Varma lives in Khar, Bombay, along with his wife, Meena, and a school-going daughter. Shekhar and Geeta fall in love with each other, and Meena starts to suspect that Shekhar is having an affair. She gets him to admit this, and moves out to live with her dad. Then Pramod is grievously wounded while trying to protect Geeta and is hospitalized. Shekhar will soon find out that Ritesh's killing is closely linked to high-ranked police officials - and he will also find out that that no matter what he does, he will, leave alone Geeta, be unable to protect himself, Meena and his daughter.

- Mangal Singh (Rajesh Khanna) has been a career criminal, whose criminal career began to steal food and to keep from starving, and thence got him in deeper and deeper in the criminal world. His crimes have caught up with him and he is sentenced to be hanged. He dramatically escapes with the help of underworld don, Suraj (Pinchoo Kapoor), and is on the run from the police. He lands up in a small village in Northern India, and becomes a school-teacher with the help of local restauranteur, Bijli (Mumtaz). He takes on the identity of Ramu, a friend of Shravan, and goes to live with Shravan's parents, Lalaji (Om Prakash) and Malti (Nirupa Roy), little knowing that they are the parents of a man he killed while escaping from the police.

Khurana's business have materialize into drugs and unlawful activities - with Amar defeating him in every step - he now become a thrown in Khurana's side who hires John to kill him. John accept the job along with a fat fee - this then re-unite him with the Sharmas which prompts him to join hands with Amar to bring Munjal Khurana to justice.

Then Sultan receive news that Razoulli was killed by Khalid - Sultan then swears to destroy Khalid. When Sultan gets informed that Samir and his beloved, Zarina is returning from abroad he attempt to abduct them albeit unsuccessful. Shortly after Sultan and Khalid begins their fierce battle against each other - a battle between father and son - fully well knowing that only one shall survive.

Preeti soon realizes that the reason Prem has re-appeared in her life to be near her nubile to-be sister-in-law, Tikki. The question remains what will she do under the circumstances to try and expose Prem as well as protect her past from Dr. Amar? It turns out that Rahul is Prem and Preeti's son and that Prem has come to Dr.Amar for Rahul's treatment. Preeti's father had told her after the birth of the child that she had given birth to a still-born child. After Rahul's operation Preeti comes to know about the reality and confronts her father who confesses to her that he had lied about her giving birth to a dead child and asks her forgiveness but Preeti retorts saying that she an never forgive him as he had lied to her and thinks herself deceived by her own father. Rahul's operation turns to be successful and Preeti and Prem are reunited with their son along with their families.

- The Saxena's family consists of Chief Engineer Vinay Saxena, his wife, a daughter, Pooja and his younger brother, Shankar. Shankar is a CBI officer a fact that is known to his family members only recently; meanwhile Vinay is approached by a corrupt builder, Shaadilal who attempts to bribe him to pass an illegal tender. The same night Shankar red-handily catches Deepak committing a murder, arrests him and logged him in a cell; then Shankar goes home to hear that his niece, Pooja is pregnant with Deepak's child only to arrange the marriage of Pooja and Deepak. In the midst of the wedding Shankar is forced to arrest his brother, Vinay; unable to bear this Deepak decides to go about a quest that will provide evidences to prove Vinay's innocence only to be killed. Shankar then suspects foul play and decides to conduct investigations that will bring the real culprits to justice.
