- Oswald the Rabbit is the conductor on a runaway trolley.

He manages to make a rifle play music with a record-like disc, at which, his pursuers stop and start dancing. Though the music is less than hot, combing tunes like LONDON BRIDGE and GLOW WORM, but they are so enthralled they merge together to form a huge phonograph, with an amplifier horn formed from the end of the rifle.
- Oswald the Rabbit plays the hockey champ, but gets distracted and flirts with a beautiful snow bunny.
- Oswald sneaks away from school in order to visit a circus sideshow, and is chased through the circus by the police.
- Oswald is off to see his sweetheart when he is passed by a rival in a faster car. He takes the lead, though, when both drivers encounter a mud puddle; Oswald isn't afraid to get a little dirty, while his competitor is. Oswald arrives and serenades his love, hampered by the animals in the yard. The rival shows up and they fight over the girl, during which time she slips away with a third suitor.

He eventually realizes the mutt's drinking hair tonic and so he takes the bottle away and finishes the job. A hippo's next in line, then an elephant, then a truculent and lascivious bear, all with equally humorous results.

Life looks promising again when he meets Brother Bear hobo [Pete] who is boiling coffee over a campfire. Oswald donates an egg to the repast-which is promptly stolen. Suddenly they see a freshly-roasted chicken in a pantry window. Oswald is made to act as purloiner. His first attempt at theft is squashed by a ferocious bulldog. Finally a neat-but-not-flashy set of long willies on a line acts as end-man, and trolleys the bird to Ozzie. Foiled again (for a policeman happens on the scene), down the unfriendly road rushes our hero. Then the policeman seizes the fowl. The bulldog, spying this, chases the officer into the far horizon, much to Oswald's glee.
