- Bobby has just been thrown out of "the New Farm Idol". So after declaring his love to Paula, the master's daughter, he sets to try his chance in The Big City. He meets Machin who helps him meet The Producer. After winning a singing competition, he is hired as a "young talents" producer. Fanny, the Producer's daughter has her eyes on him. She tries singing herself, first timidly, then with more assurance and pleasure. Her greatest joy is to comb the bazaar for cassettes of Oum Kalsoum. She feels a surge of love. For her husband, for his children, for his parents, for his brothers. Her husband is thrilled by the transformation of his wife and encourages her new passion. His brothers, however, think she's gone mad: she listens to music, sings and seems consumed by passion. Could she be seeing another man? They decide to follow her...
- The town is calm, it's nighttime, a shadow is cast over the city. In the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis, it's the start of Spring and Aton is having some problems. The life of the young man is turned upside down by his father's arrival, his exams at university, and especially the appearance of a mysterious young woman, by the name of Nina. The shadow is still there, this time hovering over Aton's apartment, there it finds its prey. It's the beginning of a nocturnal journey, a magical quest, from which the young man will not escape unscathed.
