After chasing him all over the city, Lt. Conrad Rose and his team eventually lure Machado to his girlfriend's apartment, where a firefight ensues with a tragic and surprising outcome.

As Connie and the team go after the killer, Jimmy McGloin is haunted by an event from his past that could compromise the investigation. Connie faces a nightmare of his own when his daughter goes missing.
