Her ailing mother-in-law passes away - Shanicharni is unable to weep; Years later, Ganju gets killed after consuming holy water from a temple - Shanichari is unable to weep; When Budhwa get's married to a local prostitute, Mungri, who becomes pregnant, and then subsequently aborts the child - Shanichari is unable to weep; When Budhwa runs away from home, never to be seen again - Shanichari is unable to weep. Then a woman named Bhikni enters her life - she is called Rudaali - one who accepts money in turn for loud laments, weeping, & beating of the chest when a rich man passes away for a small fee, some milk, oil, and flour. Bhikni would like Shanichari to also be a Rudaali, but Shanichari eyes are always dry. When Bhikni is called for a day in another town, it is then Shanichari receives word that Ram Avtar is no more and she is called to be a Rudaali. Knowing fully well that she cannot shed tears, Shanichari does attend the funeral - and it is here that she will receive the news that may bring real tears to her eyes.

After their term is over, Shera and Jaaga meet with Banarsi Das and plot a devious scheme to turn the lives of Veer Bahadur Singh and Vishal Khanna upside down. And helping the trio, behind the scenes, is none other than the Home Minister, Dharampal Singh, who will ensure that Shera, Jaaga, and Banarsi will not face any prosecution after they do away with Vishal, Veer Bahadur as well as their respective families.

Cai Yue was angered by the death of her father and wanted revenge. Xiao Li Fei Dao found out that his son was Li Huai (a beggar). So he decided to give Li Huai the secrets to the famous kung fu - "Xiao Li Fei Dao". Li Huai took that and his mothers will and decided to leave the Li house (he did not want to be in that family.) Years later Cai Yue thought that she was good enough to fight Xiao Li Fei Dao (Li Huai's dad). She went to his house and challenged him.
- Rai Bahadur is a wealthy man who lives in a palatial home with his grand-daughter, Pinky, and grandson, Raju. One night Raju gets abducted and is sold to notorious and hideous-looking gangster Ustad, who forces crippled children to beg and steal for him. Raju also gets inducted in this gang, and is taught to steal at a very young age. Years later, Pinky recognizes Raju as her brother and takes him home to grandpa, who accepts him immediately and provides for him with joy. Then a few days later some silver items are stolen from his house, and Raju is missing. Rai Bahadur is shocked and reports this matter to the police, and continues his search for his missing grandson. Is Raju really his grandson? Did he actually steal the silver items?
- Shruti [child artiste Hansika Motwani] is the 10-year-old daughter of Shrikant [Sanjay Kapoor] and Shraddha [Raveena Tandon]. She travels to her school by the local train every morning. One day, she accidentally gets locked up in her school and by the time she catches a train to go home, it is already midnight. Three young drug addicts also board the train and seeing her alone, they rape her in front of three passengers who seem afraid and helpless to come to her aid. Shruti is brought in an unconscious state to the hospital by the police. She breathes her last in front of her aggrieved parents. The city is shocked by this untoward incident. The case is handed over to Kripa Shankar Thakur [Manoj Bajpai], an upright and honest cop from the Crime Branch. From here starts an unusual legal battle between the honest and the corrupt.
- On the lookout for employment, Ashok (Joy Mukherji) sees the photographs of beautiful Asha (Asha Parekh), and decides to accept employment as the estate's Manager. Ashok himself sees Asha in her true colors when she sings and dances at a party, overly intoxicated.

- Two con-men, Inder alias Eena and Deeka has an encounter in a bank. Eena commit the crime but because of Deeka's bad record with the police they are misunderstood and thus Deeka gets a long jail term but manages to escape. He then begins a manhunt for Eena in order to take him to the police station so that he can confess to his crime thus clearing his name; he does manages to get his hands on Eena but he refuses to accept his crime. Watch how Deeka makes Eena's life miserable to get him to comply with his wish.

Kishori misses the baby, and eventually drives herself to serious illness, which can only be cured when she has the baby with her all the time.
- Bombay City Police suspect that some diamonds are being smuggled through Santa Cruz Airport, they immediately alert Customs Officials, and Airport police who thoroughly check through all the luggage and the passengers who have just arrived. They notice a nervous male, and when they approach to question him, he flees, leads the police onto a high speed chase, then crashes his vehicle against a tree and is killed. The police are able to recover diamonds and jewelery from a suitcase, and trace it to Bhagwandas Jewellers. When Mr. Bhagwandas is questioned, he denies having any knowledge of this, and asks his Munim to go to the Police Station and file a statement to this effect. Before the Munim can carry out his employer's instructions, he kills himself. The police must now determine as to why the Munim killed himself or was he killed by Bhagwandas, and assisting them in their task is a young man by the name of Shekhar, who has fallen in love with Bhagwandas' daughter, Rita. All the clues and trails point to Bhagwandas and his "silent" partner, Shamsher Singh, who was formerly known as criminal don, Shyamlal, but the police have no evidence to link Shamsher to the smuggling racket nor to the death of the Munim. It looks like the wily Shamsher does seem to have successfully pulled wool over the eyes of the police again.
- The story is based on the life of a 21-year-old young girl Rimjhim who is pretty, elegant, and soft-spoken but quick-witted and full of fun. Fearing for the safety of Nagesh, his mother gets him married to a pious woman, Neelam, the daughter of a Poojary. The stage is now set for a confrontation between the pious wife against the shape-changing Rajni, who will not permit a mere mortal to stop her. Then things change dramatically when Nagesh is photographed having an affair with a woman named Julie, who is subsequently killed, the police find evidence linking Nagesh to this murder, he is dismissed from the employment of the Police Force, held in a cell, found guilty by the court, and sentenced to be hanged. Watch what happens when both Neelam and Rajni come to know about the Court's decision, and what steps each will take to claim Nagesh as her own.
