- France, 1625: Young d'Artagnan heads to Paris to join the Musketeers but the evil cardinal has disbanded them - save 3. He meets the 3, Athos, Porthos and Aramis, and joins them on their quest to save the king and country.
- A gothic girl in her late teens hates her life so much that she self-harms by cutting at her side, in order to take away the pain. She squats in a filthy boarded up flat where it always seems to be stormy weather. After departing from her boyfriend she has a strange encounter with a life-sized version of her childhood teddy bear that she always keeps close to her side. The two beings make a mental connection when the girl witnesses a momentary flash of the bear's true identity before waking up at home in bed. From that moment on the girl's self-harm scar gains a life of its own, growing at a disproportionate rate and giving her a strange hunger for flesh. As the scar inflates in size the girl immerses herself in her new flesh and begins to have flashbacks of her life as an isolated young girl who suffered nightmares of a tiny dead alien-like creature. The girl starts to change both physically and mentally, losing her sense of self as a human being, moving back and forth through a disjointed world of dreams, fantasy and reality. Connecting with the teddy bear on further occasions, the girl's cathartic journey is complete when, from the enlarged scar, she gives birth to the small creature from her childhood dreams. As the teddy bear returns to collect his child, revealing his true self to the girl, she realises that by nurturing new life, her scarred skin has healed and she no longer feels the need to self-harm. Although the storms continue to rule her reality, her mind and body are healed and have accepted life and her role within it.
