- An Afghan POW attempts his escape.
- Each episode is a separate story told from the dog's point of view. It presents the adventures of dog companions and their owners. In a way, it concerns ourselves, because it shows everyday life from a completely different point of view, thanks to which we can discover our own flaws in the characters.
- The main hero is a historical personage Witold Pilecki, a cavalry Captain, who voluntarily entered German Concentration Camp Auschwitz, organized resistance there and a channel of communication to pass information, as well as escaped from the camp, went abroad to convey the information about concentration camp to the alliance forces and came back to Polish People's Republic where he was imprisoned and appallingly tortured. The teleplay is focused on the excessive brutality of enquiries against him and on the trial during which he was falsely accused as well as on his indomitableness and perseverance.
