- Popular but lonely Bollywood actress Rani lives a fairly isolated life, through publicly she is thronged by fans, and has taken to drinking alcohol in a big way. Thus intoxicated she runs her vehicle into a young man named Pappu, who suffers minor injuries. He recognizes her, and tells her that he is her number one fan and will do anything for her. She wants him to kill her double-timing boyfriend Rahul. He agrees to do so, provided she kills his overbearing, aged grandmother, to which she agrees. After Pappu completes his gruesome task, he meets with Rani, only to be told that she does not recognize him, but when presented with proof, she relents and agrees to fulfill her part of this trade. She, along with Kokibhai, arrive at the palatial home of Pappu's grandmother and set out the task of killing her without arousing any suspicion on themselves or Pappu. What the hapless trio do not know is that ACP Kamat already has evidence linking Pappu to Rahul's sudden death and has been keeping a close eye on his whereabouts--all ready to arrest him and get him to confess about Rahul's murder as well as the attempt to kill his very own grandmother.

He is determined to get his son back on the right track. In order to get Abhay into the office he entices him with the idea of young female secretary. He succeeds. Abhay meets Vanshika at the office. He is disgusted. She is flustered, but hopelessly in love. The rest of the film is a roller-coaster ride - a clash of the value system of the idealistic Vanshika and the non-existent morals of the wayward Abhay. But there are some unexpected twists, strange encounters (with Jabbar Khashogi-Danny Denzongpa) and unusual events courtesy (Jhonny Lever} on this exciting ride. In Mumbai Ajay is introduced to Ravindranath Tagore, who arranges his stay in a high-end flat with an air-conditioner. Ajay gets acquainted with his next door neighbor, an actress named Chandni, who usually acts in commercials and short advertisements. He find out that Chandni is a single woman and after some time began flirting with her. For fear that Sunita will learn of his actions, Ajay decides to travel back to Jaipur.
- Jaidev Anand is a celebrity, and lives a fairly isolated life. One day he comes to the rescue of a young woman, Vandana Acharya, and falls in love with her. The plans are on for an early marriage, but before that could happen Vandana meets a single mother, Gayetri, and her son. It is then she finds out that Jaidev is already married, and also has a son. What possible reason could Jaidev have for not sharing this information with Vandana?

He sets about creating obstacles for the British, and is soon on wanted lists by the authorities, on one occasion he is shielded by a courtesan, Noor Jehan (Juhi Chawla). In order to achieve his vengenace, he travels to the United Kingdom, befriends the local Indians, as well as Irish Freedom Fighter, Irene Rose Palmer (Charleen Carswell). He finally kills Dwyer during a presentation. He is quickly apprehended, and jailed. He refuses to cooperate with the authorities, nor is he willing to accept that he is mentally incapable. His trial is a mockery and travesty of justice. He is ordered to be hung, and the press are forbidden to publish the trial proceedings.
- An unemployed Muslim youth aspires to become a big-shot criminal but mends his ways with the help of his educated brother-in-law.
- Modern day secular India sees riots break out between extremists elements belonging to Hindu and Muslim groups. To pacify them, Haji Ali Baba appeals to them, and asks them to return peacefully to their homes and families, which they do. This does not auger well with the perpetrators of the riots, who want to destabilize India, take over Kashmir, and infuse terrorism in every walk of life. One of the employees, Raghu, of these instigators finds that his child has been killed, so he makes a file and takes it to Haji, and is killed shortly thereafter. When Haji goes through the file he finds that the conspiracy involves big name politicians, and he decides to confront one of them. He does so, and is killed, but after leaving the file in a secure location. The big-wigs hire two friends, Veeru and Akbar, to locate the file for a fee, which they do. Then they find out that they have virtually turned over the country to extremists, and decide to repent for their actions by recovering the file and handing it to proper authorities for disposal. What they do not realize is that there seems to be no "proper authority" for dealing with such wrong actions, and it appears that everyone is involved in this deep conspiracy to make money for themselves. The two hapless friends now realize the situation they are in, and must prepare themselves and their loved ones against the onslaught that will surely wipe them out from this world.
- Bombay's Police Inspector Angre is assigned the task to investigate the theft of a Fiat car from Blue Ribbon Hotel which belonged to Ghanshyamdas Gupta. The alleged culprit is hospitalized, is claiming a memory loss, and had attempted to choke the life out of his nurse. Then a wealthy industrialist shows up stating that this young man is his son, Sikander, takes him home with him and arranges for a companion, Roopesh, to be with him all the time. Angre continues to pursue this matter but is all the more perplexed when he is notified by Inspectors K.K. Diwan and P.C. Yadav that Sikander is actually Poona-based Jony K. D'Souza, a career thief, who may have killed his wife, Janice, as well as his companion, Roopesh, and is on his way back to Bombay. Angre deduces that since Sikander got off the train at Dadar Railway Station, and is more likely to be anywhere from Bombay Central to Borivili or from Parel to Chembur. Angre will subsequently be faced with another mystery when the culprit surfaces again - this time with the identity of Aakash, the fiancé of a young woman, Meghna. While Angre is determined to find out the culprit's real identity, Meghna is certain that he is an impostor as she is sure that Aakash was killed by gangsters. The question remains: who is this culprit and what exactly is his real identity?
- Sitanath Ardhnarayan Choudhry and Ajit Khanna are old friends. Sitanath has a daughter named Sunita, and Ajit has a son named Jai. Both fathers would like their respective children to meet each other and get married. In order to do this, Ajit asks Jai to travel to Sitanath's village, meet Sunita, and if found compatible, make arrangements for marriage, to which Jai agrees to. On reaching Sitanath's residence, Jai, in the company of his friend, Pradeep, come across a man named Ravi, who tells them they are in the wrong village, and directs them to a mansion run by an eccentric owner, so that they can spend the night there, and then take the train back the next day. Ravi warns them about the owner, who likes to talk all night to anyone who listens. Both Jai and Pradeep meet the owner, and are quite abrupt with him. The next day, Jai meets the owner's daughter Kimi, and falls in love with her. The problem is how does he go about notifying his dad about his new-found love for Kimi, and the reason why they ended up in the wrong village on one hand; and how is he going to make amends to Kimi's dad?
- Amar comes from the village to the city in order to seek medical treatment for his mother; as soon as he reaches the city he is robbed of his money. Fortunately for him Ajay manages to come to his rescue securing his belonging. Then one day Amar attempt to prevent Ajay from committing a robbery only to get Ajay arrested by the police; he then swears to avenge this. Shortly after Amar is forced to take to crime in order to acquire huge sums of money for his mother's operation. Time passes and Ajay gets released from jail; it is here he thinks about closing in on Amar only to learn that Amar is in love with his sister, Dr. Pooja. Ajay not only objects to their marriage but openly threatens Amar forcing the couple to elope and get marry. Unfortunately after the marriage Pooja gets raped and killed - while the police hold Amar responsible for this carnage, Ajay wants to utilize this opportunity to kill him.

To her horror, Priya finds out that Sridhar has chosen Vishal not because he approves of him, but has a devious plan to avenge the death of his governess Kalavati Verma at the hands of Chandrachur. The question is will Priya be the right person to help Sridhar avenge Kalavati's death?

- Balwant is a ex-convict and former jailbird. He returns home after completing his sentence, and finds out that the wealthy Thakur has a treasure stashed away nearby with a map enclosed in a diamond ring. His dying wife, takes her young son, Dharma, and asks the Thakurain to take care of him as if he were her own, to which she agrees. Balwant is re-arrested and sentenced to a long jail term. Years later, Dharma has grown to be a honest, hard-working young man under Thakurain's care. Then chaos breaks out in their orderly lives when a con man named Chakradhari enters their town, and this situation is aggravated when Balwant completes his sentence and returns to find the ring and claim the map to the treasure. The question is who is in possession of the ring?
