- Fresh Air is about the tensions between a teenage daughter (Angela) and her single mother (Voila). Voila is a hard working toilet attendant in a metro station in Budapest, Angela a school student aspiring to be a fashion designer. Though mother and daughter hardly speak to each other, they sit down for watching their favorite sitcom. Angela can't stand Voila due to her job, as soon the mother comes home the daughter opens all windows as a sign of her detest against her mother's job.
- The life story of Imre Nagy is one of the defining stories of 20th century Hungarian history. He was the first communist leader to become the symbol of a national revolution, who, in addition, withdrew from the Warsaw Treaty and stood up for democracy based on a pluralist party system. Many argue that the role he assumed in the revolution of 1956 and his continued loyalty to the notion of the revolution, which prevailed until his death, did not clearly follow from his communist convictions and his past experiences in Moscow.

At 17 he is betrayed and arrested by the dreaded Secret Police (AVH). Peter Mansfeld was 18 when he was unjustly executed by the totalitarian regime of Hungary. Today he is remembered as one of the national heroes of Hungary.
- Tom, the rookie British cop is on an assignment in Brooklyn when he gets in a situation that he can't cope with. During a stakeout he spots a suspicious passer-by and begins chasing him. They end up on a college corridor where Zoltan, the unknown criminal takes a hostage. It's spring break, the only person to capture in the building is Jessica, the cleaner. The bad guy points his gun at the girl, the good guy aims at the criminal. Neither of them is willing to put the gun down. Zoltan has to kill, surrender or talk his way out. Tom has to protect and serve.
