In flashbacks he remembers that his real name is Amit Roy and Ranjit was the one who attempted to kill him six years earlier by throwing him off the train he was traveling on with Rekha. Amit also discovers that his young son who is now 10 years old has been sent to a boarding school and sets out a plan to regain custody of his son. First however he plans on taking revenge against Ranjit. Amit comes up with a plan to re-enter Rekha and Ranjit's lives by disguising himself as a film producer. He meets with Rekha and Ranjit and offers Rekha the opportunity to act in his new film titled Do Anjaane. Rekha and Ranjit grow suspicious of Naresh Dutt as they start to realize that he bears a striking resemblance to Rekha's supposedly deceased husband Amit Roy and the storyline of his film eerily mirrors Rekha's past life. Will she discover the true identity of Naresh Dutt? and what revenge has Amit/Naresh got planned for Ranjit?

When Dinanath's eyesight becomes very weak, he starts making errors, and loses his job. He does manage to persuade his employer, Laxmidas, to hire Kumar once he gets his degree in Arts. On the day of the results, Kumar has an accident and passes away, a devastated Dinanath bangs his head, injures himself, is hospitalized, recovers but loses his vision completely. As a result, Kamla's wedding is canceled, Prem reluctantly gets married to Shyama; while Kamla gets a job and starts to look after her dad and Kishore. Years pass by, Kishore has grown up, graduates, gets a job, gets married to Tara, the niece of Kashiram, Prem's Munshi. The family settles down to a fairly harmonious relationship which is shattered when Kishore and Tara accuse Kamla of stealing household items, resulting in Kamla and her dad moving out of the house. Kamla and her dad live a near-destitute life, and Kamla gets a job to look after an ailing Shyama, while Prem is away. Watch what happens when Shyama finds out that she has hired her husband's ex-lover, and the very woman she suspects is still having an affair with him.

He makes a living running an export-import business near Flora Fountain. One day unattended Kishore runs away, a frantic Ashok complains to the Police and puts up a reward of a thousand Rupees. A young woman named Asha, who lives a poor lifestyle, all by herself, finds Kishore, brings him to the Police Station, where he is picked up by Ashok and taken home. Asha refuses to take any reward money. Shortly thereafter Ashok advertises for the position of a governess, Asha applies, is hired, and moves in to live with them. Soon she and Ashok fall in love, much to the chagrin of Ashok's aunt, who wants him to marry her niece. Ashok gets married with Asha nevertheless, the family live in harmony, and Asha gives birth to a male child, Munna. Thereafter Ashok is told that Asha is neglecting Kishore; a necklace that was inexpensive, but a good omen for Kishore goes missing, and is subsequently found on Munna's bed; and a cat dies after drinking poisoned milk that was meant for Kishore. An angered Ashok blames Asha and asks her to leave, and she picks up Munna and leaves. The question remains: Did Asha really neglect, steal and then try to kill Kishore merely because she became a mother herself or was there some other unknown reason(s)?
