Revenge is called for and the gang turns to them for direction. Bernie (David Bowie) is the aging gangster who struggles to keep the peace.

Known as el jibaro this man recounts the nightmares he went through as he lived and saw the horrors first hand. From the civil war that ensued in the 1970's which resulted in hundreds of murders inside the prison and the birth of 2 of puertorico's most notorious prison gangs the ñetas and the 27's. Talks about inmates being chopped in pieces and flushed down the sewers, being locked up in the dungeon and even voodoo and paranormal activity in the prison that was his home for 47 years.

From being a huge success in the construction industry, he went on the being a legend as a powerboat designer and racer. Of the World's most recognized racing boat companies, Don Aronow established five; Donzi, Formula, Magnum, Cigarette and US Racing Team. As the US and World Powerboat Champion several times over, his friends, clients, business partners, enemies and competitors were many. Designing and manufacturing powerboats for Presidents, Princes and the privileged, Aronow gained popularity with women and indeed their husbands. As businessman, Aronow applied a no questions asked policy. If the money was there, a boat would be supplied, "I don't care who you are but I will give you the boat if you have enough cash to pay", was a term used by Aronow. Allegedly Aronow, did business on both sides of the law. During the 70's and 80's, with plenty of friends and foes he became an icon, that men idolized. His fast life led to a speedy death, this documentary examines Don's life, his encounters from his early days, to his tragic murder in 1987 in the middle of his reign.
- Evaristo and Luis Antonio - indigenous brothers from the SierraTarahumara in northwest Mexico - have just graduated from boarding elementary school. Evaristo desires to continue his education, leading a bicultural life, where the Tarahumara, or Raramuri as they call themselves, have the opportunity to keep learning to speak, read and write in Spanish, the Mexican official language. Meanwhile Luis Antonio "Tony" is very happy to be done with school. Even though he is a smart kid and has won a grant to move on to high school, he prefers to live life in the ranch, where the kids grow up at a very young age. One morning the brothers are sent to deliver some medicine to a far away community. Tony asks their grandfather for permission to take his horse but the answer is no. Nevertheless, he decides to take it, even if Evaristo is not convinced. They take a wrong path that leads them to a narrow and deep canyon. The horse cannot go on so the boys tie it around a tree. When they come back for it the horse is no longer there. Both, angry and worried, walk in the forest looking for it; Tony thinks the horse was stolen while Evaristo is worried about the assignment. Arguing about this, they suddenly lose each other. Now each on their own continue the journey separately; Tony looks for the horse and ends up at an amusing party, while Evaristo is lonely in the canyons looking for the place to deliver the medicine. The trip becomes longer than expected. They can't go back without the horse.

Charity threatens to cut off his access to their infant son Michael unless he gets his act together. Through an intervention, Asa ends up going to work at his Uncle Billy's small advertising agency. Although the nine to five life isn't for him, which isn't helped working under the supervision of anal Nat Porter, Asa may gain that focus in life that he needs with the help of the agency's slightly off-kilter art director, Karen.
