- With Kate's parents on the way home from Africa, Rhonda does some nifty re-decorating. Jackson, now living under a bridge, meets a new friend named Mindy. Sam's situation takes a turn for the worse, and Erin gets some news that devastates her.
- With Mark sick, Jackson tries to talk Erin into auditioning for Alberts movie to help her relax. Kate and Jackson continue to move further apart, and Jackson finds out some nasty Burress family secrets. A surprise visitor shows up to greet Jackson, and Erin finds herself in a scary situation.

A fun satire, "A Mystery of Errors" gives the gang a break from all the "drama" and focuses on their friendships. But, after Erin is returned, Kate and Jackson find themselves bickering again.
- In an attempt to rebuild their relationship, Jackson invites Kate to a city dance. While they are there with the rest of the group, Mark collapses and takes a turn for the worse. Erin has to deal with him and a few more secrets in the closet and one of the main characters commits suicide in a stunning turn of events.
- It's the day of Michelle's departure and while the Drisco family is going through the motions, Jackson must deal with the death of a loved one. A delay getting to the burial forces Jackson to break a promise to Kate and in return, Kate ends their tumultuous relationship once and for all. A powerful episode with a surprise ending.
- With Kate now beaming about her new relationship with Sam, Jackson wakes up at Jaime's house with no recollection of how he got there. Jackson finds out more about Bi-Polar disorder and learns that Ray suffers from the disease as well. Jake confronts Sam about their struggles and by the end, new relationships are blossoming in full.
