- A novelist (Jack Scalia) enters into a complicated affair with a doctor's wife (Lindsay Wagner), who happens to be his publishing company's marketing director and a mother of two.

Gidget's niece wants to learn how to surf and gets too much when she sneaks out to see a suave, self-serving beach bum behind the back of her nerdy boyfriend.

- A parapsychologist who has spent his entire career debunking anyone who claims to have paranormal abilities. He's even willing to pay 3 million dollars to anyone who can prove they're real. And it seems Lime Street is the one who will pay the 3 million. And the man is also a friend of Rimbatten's and when he meets a man who claims to be able to talk to the dead, the man appears to be real. So Rimbatten sends for Culver and Wingate to check it out. When he has another demonstration of his abilities, he claims to talk to an old (deceased) friend of Rimbatten's and utters a secret that only the two of them know.
- Mikey finds love with a new girl in school at the same time Parker finds love with a new girl ("they" turn out to be the same girl). Being a true bud, Parker steps aside and helps Mikey by asking her out. Complicating matters further, the girl, Robin, is more interested in Parker anyway. The final straw comes in the form of a 300+ lb. football player named Larry Kubiac who wants to destroy Parker. It seems life couldn't be more complicated for the Junior who normally holds all the cards.
