- A stuffed animal goes on a journey through frightening streets to get its kid an orange.
- Felix the Cat is perched in a tree playing his guitar and serenading himself and a canary with a little ditty called "Nature and Me." It is a beautiful day in cartoon-land but Mother Nature, perhaps not a music lover, whips up a lightning-laden thunderstorm and Felix is soon seeking shelter. He finds it at the castle of King Cole, a boastful, fabricating blow-hard. The King's ancestors, tired of hearing the braggart, come out of their pictures as ghostly specters and take the King to the dungeon and pump the gassy hot-air out of him.
- Master Tom is lured away from his job of protecting the house from mice by the charms of "Miss Kitty". While he's gone, the mice trash the house. Complications ensue.
- On a dark and stormy night, a traveler takes a room at a spooky hotel in the forest. As soon as the proprietor leaves, the room comes alive with ghosts and poltergeists who torment the man as he tries to unpack, eat, and go to sleep.
- A lost submarine discovers a secret island where dinosaurs still live.
- An illustrator draws some sketches at lightning speed. He first illustrates how he can turn a written word into a sketch of that word. The first word he writes is coon, which he transforms into a sketch of a black man. The next word he writes is Cohen, which he transforms into a sketch of a Jewish looking man. He is then visited on set by another man, who makes a smudge on the drawing surface. The illustrator turns that smudge into a sketch of that visiting man. And finally, he draws a drinking glass, a bottle of milk and a bottle of seltzer which take on lives of their own.
- A witch and her really-stupid cat try to disrupt a Halloween celebration by the mice. They swoop down on the mice as they are parading around a bonfire. But the cat burns its tail, is discovered, and the Mighty One is summoned. He ties the cat in knots and the celebration continues.
- A father and daughter each enjoy their printed "Grouch Chaser" cartoons, which come to life for the audience. Meanwhile, the daughter is secretly planning to elope.
- Mutt and Jeff run a soda fountain. When a bottle of pep tonic is accidentally substituted for syrup, the new sodas cause a crazy commotion.
- Harry Hippo spends every night at the pub, ignoring his wife and kids. When Harry finally staggers home, his angry wife doesn't want him anymore, driving him out with a rolling pin. Bill suggests that Harry's wife would take him back if he made her jealous... a plan that involves Bill posing as Harry's mistress. Uh-oh.
- A mouse and his boss pose as dogcatchers and grab a schoolhouse full of dogs; they use several other ruses to round up dogs for, as we discover, a sausage factory. Alice and Julius are on the trail soon after the first caper, but it takes them a while to catch up with the bad guys. They do, and Julius tricks the big boss into getting clobbered by the sausage guy, then turns the dogs loose on him.
- Unable to finish his cartoon, Max sends a drawing of the Clown by messenger directly to the projectionist. Upon receipt the Clown comes to life on the page, performing a circus horse act that's truly to die for.
- A little boy and his beloved puppy find themselves in and out of mischief.
- Private eyes Mutt and Jeff are on the trail of the ghostly shape-shifting criminal, the Phantom.
- Colonel Heeza Liar jumps off the drawing board and into the real world to track down a stolen rooster.
- Dud's mother catches him breaking open a coin bank and spanks him. He runs away from home, only to suffer another spanking when he returns.
- Rare plagiarized version of Winsor McCay's animated short film "Gertie the Dinosaur" created by John Randolph Bray in 1915. It shows an animated dinosaur doing several shenanigans in a prehistoric natural setting.
- Bobby Bumps is getting ready for school with the help from among others his faithful dog, Fido. Bobby is the bane of his teacher's existence since he often daydreams, today about playing baseball with Fido, rather than focus on his schoolwork. Even during recess, Bobby is the cause of an incident which in turn results in the teacher having problems getting the students back into class following the recess break. But that break ends up being even longer because of Bobby and what happens with his teacher.
- Waffles and Don explore a sunken ship where they meet drunk turtles singing "Sweet Adeline" and a skeletal Davy Jones.
- Jeff can't sleep because of stomach cramps so Mutt tries to find a remedy.
- An artist draws a dog who comes to life and eats a plate of sausages.
- On Al Falfa's not so real farm, he is able to grow such delicacies as a pitcher of beer and an alcoholic cocktail. He feeds the cocktail to his willing cow, Clara. But that drink makes her go a little wild, she who starts to chase Al Falfa through his vast and geographically diverse property. But since his farm isn't really real, Al Falfa can use some interesting techniques to get away from Clara.
- Two youths unharness a man's donkey, letting the cart tip up, and the pumpkins inside roll down the street. The owner and his donkey then pursue the pumpkins through a variety of obstacles until they catch up with them.
- As a cartoonist draws a clown, a housefly harasses both the man and his pen-and-ink creation.
- An animator and a janitor are playing with a Ouija Board and Koko is haunted by a bunch of ghosts.
- After unsuccessfully trying to steal food from a fish market, Felix is promised by a man that if he watches the man's child, he will be fed a great meal. Unfortunately, the baby swallows a balloon and floats out the window, and Felix has to find him and bring him back before the man gets home.
- Felix goes after a butcher's sausages and captures them, but the butcher catches him and sends him to the Arctic to get rid of him.
- Toby delivers his milk, gets caught in a bad storm, then attends a dance party.
- A scientist discovers a special potion which can make any living creature invisible for half an hour, and hires Jeff as his assistant to try it out on various unsuspecting beings. But Mutt butts in, leaving Jeff to take a fitting revenge.
- A flapper girl sings and dances, which stimulates lazy farm animals back to work.
- After enduring various indignities by the human population in town, including getting beaten up by the fish market owner and forced to eat hot mustard by a customer in a restaurant, Felix finally breaks when he hears the mayor give a speech vowing to drive all cats out of town. Felix gathers his feline friends and stages a revolution to restore cats to their rightful place in society.
- Mistaking a tiger's tail for a snake, Colonel Heeza Liar puts himself in wrong with a big tiger, who gives him a very bad quarter of an hour, until the matchless courage and ingenuity of our hero overcomes him. Next our friend mistakes a bear's ears for a butterfly, and tries to net them, with the result that soon he is up a tree only a breath or two in advance of the bear. Things look very dark for him, especially as the bear energetically tries to shake the colonel from his perch like a ripe apple, but again his resourcefulness finds a victory. As a final grand windup he makes the biggest bag of game, all at one shot that anyone ever secured under similar circumstances.

- Felix and his friend little Sammy Johnson are playing baseball when they discover a map that leads to the undersea treasure of Lizzie the Pirate Queen. Building their own submarine, they slip beneath the waves in search of the treasure, and meet up with a variety of undersea creatures, including the most dangerous of all--the loan shark.
- Felix organizes a dance contest for hens, but runs afoul of the chicken farmer because the hens aren't meeting their egg quotas. The farmer captures Felix and makes him dig his own grave before he "does him in", but at the last moment an unexpected event results in Felix avoiding his death sentence.
- While serenading Kitty, Felix is knocked off the fence by a lamp that is thrown at him. It turns out to be a magic lamp, and when the genie of the lamp appears and grants Felix a wish, he decides to make a trip to Africa, which he believes will make Kitty love him even more.
- Bored with life in town, Felix sees an opportunity for some excitement when a traveling circus passes through, so he joins up. One day he overhears the Skeleton Man propose to the Fat Lady, then change his mind because she's too fat. Felix decides to help her lose weight so the Skeleton Man will marry her, but this results in the ringmaster getting angry with Felix and firing him. Felix comes up with a plan to force the circus to re-hire him.
- A film of more than unusual interest. Those who are familiar with the length of time it takes to make a picture wherein oil the furniture in the house moves out automatically, will appreciate the great labor of making this film.
- Mutt and Jeff own and operate their own firehouse. Mutt believes where there's smoke, there's fire, which gets them into an early scrape. But they are called to an actual fire of a several storied residential building. A frantic woman asks them to save her baby who is located on the top floor of the burning building. Their first problem is how to get up to the top floor, which Jeff inadvertently figures out how to do. But other distractions plus trying to find the baby through the thick smoke may be obstacles in achieving their mission. But something that the woman doesn't tell them may be the biggest hurdle.
- Bratty Bobby Bumps tells his friend that he's starting a lodge in order to trick him. But Bobby soon gets his comeuppance when they encounter a bear!
- When a persistent mosquito annoys Mr. Givney at the New Monia station, Jerry gets the idea to tie a hammer to his dog's tail to swat the pesky insect.
- A man reads in the newspaper that Bolsheviks are on the loose and that the public should beware of odd acting strangers. He spots a pipe smoking man holding what he believes is a bomb, and thinks he must be one of the Bolsheviks. He tries to get away from the stranger, but the stranger seems to be following him, polishing his bomb and getting ready to light it. But that round bomb ends up having a more recreational use of a different type of explosion.
- This film was released originally in 1928. In 1948 it was released again with sound. The cinematographer, Harry Forbes, died on August 17th, 1939. The Fresh Lobster is a 6 minute gem.
