- A former Marine stands in the way of the Straw Hat Pirates.
- Nobita and Doraemon use time tree Mochi and catches a big bird Moa, which has been extinct for 500 years ago. To protect extinct the animal, Nobita and Doramon go to Beremon Island which is protected by a golden beetle named Herakles. They meet a girl from the Rokkoro tribe and a boy who looks exactly like Nobita on Beremon Island.

- During a wave of anti-mutant violence, Spyke returns, having further mutated as a vigilante and protector of the sewer-dwelling Morlocks.
- The female X-Men are fed up with playing second fiddle, and form a vigilante crime-fighting group called the Bayville Sirens. Scott and Kurt try to figure out what they are up to until an old enemy crosses the Sirens' path.
