- THEYYA THEYYAM - 'Theyyam' can roughly be treated as there-incarnation of a soul. In the folk rituals of North Malabar dead war heroes are sometimes raised to the status of Theyyam. Thus Theyya Theyyam is the double incarnation of a soul.When Theyyam is being performed, the dead hero is usually elevated to the status of a God in the eyes of the villagers.

- King Agnimitra is at war with the neighbouring state Vidharbha. He has two wikfes, Dharini and Iravati. The beautiful Malavika a fugitive in war lives in cognitive as Dharini's maid in Agnimitra's Court. Agnimiytra happens to see Malavika in a dance competition which was arranged by his friend Goutama (Vidooshaka). Love grows between Agnimitra and Malavika. They find a rendezvous under an Asoka Tree. Informed by the King's commandoes, Dharini and Iravati catch the lovers together, Malavika is imprisoned. Vidooshaka devices a scheme to free Malavika and she is freed. Parivrajika who knows the secret about Malavika's latent power advises her to kick the dried Asoka tree. The tree immediately blossoms. This coincides with the victory of Agnimitra in the war with the Greeks. The play concludes with the King marrying Malavika.
- Mahakavi Bhasa portrays in his classic work 'Karnabharam', the downfall of the mighty epic hero 'Karna', projecting the inner conflict that develops in him when he enters Kurukshethra to wage a crucial battle with the Pandavas.
- Madhyama Vyayogam' or 'Madhyamavyayogam' marks Sopanam's maiden encounter with Sanskrit Theatre in 1978. A theme which brings home to us the warmth of family relationship, the stimulation of human sentiments - the old values being recaptured in a highly dramatic situation. The drama is written by Mahakavi Bhasa depicting the incidents of the great epic Mahabharata.
- KALIVESHAM - Nalacharitham, the famous Kathakali story has Nala as its protagonist who gets possessed of Kali, the evil character. The text of this play provides a context in which there is interaction of three characters Nala, Kali and Natan (actor) of which Kali has no physical existence. His presence can be manifested only through the Natan (actor). Here when the Kathakali theme makes its renewed passage to the modern theatre it presents to us a thought process which forms the very basis of the art of transformation in theatre. Kalivesham is directed by Pamabhusham Kavlam Narayan Pannikar and for screen by Sanjeev Sharma Ronkel.
- Natyashastra' is a class by itself. Sanjeev Sharma's fondness of the fine arts is delightedly presented in a form of this documentary with commentary of Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri recipients , scholars and many other veterans of Indian theatre, acting and performing arts.
