- From 1987 to 2009 four of the six secondary schools and five of the twelve primary schools on the plains of Marion, South Australia were closed due to changing demographics and the Education Department rationalising its services. To commemorate these schools Marion Historical Society mounted The Closed Schools of Marion exhibition. Over two afternoons of the exhibition 17 people were interviewed about their memories of these schools. Along with scanned photographs and artefacts the interviews were edited into The Closed Schools of Marion - an hour long documentary full of heart felt memories and many humorous anecdotes. Thousands of people were a part of The Closed Schools of Marion and these interviews just scratch the surface of the collective memories of these schools. The Closed Schools of Marion was singled out by History SA senior curator as the highlight of the 51 projects funded by History SA in 2011.
- This documentary follows the formation of the 10th Battalion and what became of the No.1 section scouts who were amongst the first men ashore at Gallipoli. Meanwhile Australians were finding ways to raise funds, care for the wounded and honour the dead. On 13 October 1915 South Australia's Eight Hour Day was renamed Anzac Day. A huge procession was held and events culminated with two obsolete horse drawn trams being crashed into each other and exploded in front of a crowd of 20000.
- In 1964, Australia conducted a testing program for Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) vehicles in Innisfail, QLD, Australia - the 6 Tropical Trials. The trials saw the introduction of the M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carrier into Australia's Army. This vehicle was used extensively in the Vietnam War and subsequent variants saw over 55 years of operational service. In 1964 120 personnel travelled from Victoria to Innisfail for the 6th Tropical Trials Unit. This documentary isn't a war film. It features archival photographs taken of the 6TTU and offers an insight into how these men fitted in with the local community. Six men who participated share their memories of the trials, tropical hazards, accidents, meeting wives, and spaghetti for breakfast. This project encompassed the documentary film and an 8 part Service Voices, Radio Adelaide radio series produced by Helen Meyer. It was a finalist in the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia 2022 Awards in the Excellence in Innovative Programming category.

- In 2002 a total solar eclipse passed over outback South Australia, the first in Australia in more than twenty five years. Award winning digital filmmaker Ash Starkey was there, capturing the event along with interviews and reactions from a wide variety of characters. An updated 2012 special edition of the film has just been released. This fast faced, hour long documentary contains elements of science, religion, humour, disappointment and wonderment. It includes footage and photographs of the total solar eclipse along with highlights of a live CSIRO broadcast from the path of totality. The interview subjects include eclipse enthusiasts who've travelled the world chasing this spectacular astronomical phenomenon; scientists with their feet planted firmly on the ground; astrologers in search of transcendence; ravers who want to party; an ophthalmologist warning against the use of eclipse glasses and many who safely ignored the warnings; and a cynic who's hoping the whole thing will be a disaster. Those in the outback had clear skies to view the eclipse but as totality approaches on the foreshore of Ceduna clouds play havoc with the view, the tension mounts and no one is sure who will see the event and who won't. The Path of Totality was selected to play on 600 screens around Australia and New Zealand for National Science Week. As one eclipse enthusiast states in the film "You've got to see one of these things, then you can say you're ready to die..." 2012 special addition features Plus 5 special features including 1976 total solar eclipse television report.
- Photos - shadow play, autumn leaves, bright spring petals, detritus, carrion, dropped toys, plastic litter. Like a slide show presented in the order they were taken, but presented as an ever moving intersecting montage. Hypnotic.
