- For a few months in the fall of 1993, Nickel Plate Road (NKP) 2-8-4 steam locomotive number 765 was cosmetically altered to appear as Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) locomotive number 2765, to pull several excursion trains on former C&O track. We see 2765 on a run from Cincinnati Union Terminal to Russell Kentucky, then ride in the cab on the way back. We also see footage in the New River Gorge region in West Virginia.
