- With their husbands lost to the links, their kids headed to college, and plenty of time and money on their hands, Jen and Sandra decide to fulfill - well, if not the dream of a lifetime, at least the dream of one boozy night: They buy the pro shop at their husbands' golf club. With little know-how and less to lose, they set out to build a fashion-forward business while keeping an eye on the green - and the green.
- When a racially-ambiguous stand-up comic bombs offstage with his pre-K daughter, he sets out to resolve nagging questions of identity and manhood in order to finally become a stand-up guy.
- Sandra and Jen met when their children began attending the same tony private high school. Four years later, with their teen children off to college, the women are unsure what the next chapter in their lives will be until one of them takes action on the shaky covenant of a boozy night, launching a business partnership that both women agree may be just the challenge they need.
- The shop is neither open for business nor ready for customers but when a couple - whom Sandra and Jen believe to be the Board President and his young wife - show up on the doorstep curious to see what's happening inside, the gals feel compelled to let them in. Once inside, watching the sour-dispositioned wife and her doting husband interact causes Jen some dismay about her own May-December relationship, that is until she is reminded that no book should be judged by its cover.
- It's Thanksgiving, and Jen and Sandra are both negotiating the relative joys of family visitors. Anxious to break away for a bit, they decide to make merry at the shop by hosting a "Sistersgiving" festivity. But when Jen's Instagram-influencing sister meets Sandra's Instagram-following one, sororal plans go awry, leaving the gals to wonder why they thought this gathering was a good idea to begin with.
- Despite a snow-covered golf course chasing away most of the clientele, Jen and Sandra are still working hard to find their groove and create a shop that feels like their own. Today, however, is a special day at the club, and the gals are excited about the prospect of Christmas sales, especially when a little girl in a visor and red polo comes in the shop looking for gear. So why is it that Sandra begins behaving as if she has had one too many figgy puddings?
- The club is officially closed for the winter, leaving Jen and Sandra to make their own hours. When Sandra decides to come in late and catch up on some office work alone, she is horrified to discover a rather nasty comment posted on their Facebook page by an unknown customer. Naturally, she calls Jen, who prudently advises her to leave it alone. But as Sandra continues to engage and her outrage intensifies, Jen's plans for an amorous evening at home with her husband begin to dwindle in equal measure.
