- The festival took place from 2003 to 2007 and also featured a non-competitive film series of regional and international character, historical as well as contemporary.
- Festival film screenings took place at various cinemas in Copenhagen. Press and festival centers were located at hotels.
- Since 2004 the festival also featured an international screenplay competition (Hans Morten Award).
- The Golden Swan statuette had been designed by Lin Utzon.
- In 2008/9 the festival merged with the NatFilm festival to form CPH:PIX.
