- DirectorLee UnkrichStarsTom HanksTim AllenJoan CusackThe toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home. This film is at number 1 because 'Toy Story' was the very first film I saw and I grew up with the characters and the first two movies. Hell, I'm 16 now and I still have the toys. They're not going anywhere! This film series is especially important to me because the series has a message that everybody can relare to; 'nothing can last forever and that you have to move on'. For me, this was an end of an era, and a great series. Even though we may never see these characters on the big screen in a full- length movie again, they will always be with us in our hearts as our friends that we have come to know and love. The perfect ending to the perfect film.
- DirectorSylvester StalloneStarsSylvester StalloneAntonio TarverMilo VentimigliaThirty years after the ring of the first bell, Rocky Balboa comes out of retirement and dons his gloves for his final fight against the reigning heavyweight champ Mason 'The Line' Dixon.'Rocky' will always go down as the best movie ever made. It was certainly made very well and Stallone is awesome! This is definitely the strongest film in the series. That is until 2006, when 'Rocky Balboa' was zapped down from Stallone's God- like fists. The 'Rocky' franchise is 30 years of unbelievable drama, kick- ass characters and Mickey. This film is perfect, and a great ending to an underdog story. If they ever made a seventh film, I would not see it!
- DirectorBill LawrenceStarsZach BraffSarah ChalkeDonald FaisonIt's JD's last day at Sacred Heart, but the day is not the special one that he had envisioned and hoped for. What can I say about 'Scrubs'? Is it a comedy? A drama? Well, for me, this episode tells us exactly what it is. A very sweet comedy- drama with plenty of heart and laughter. I watched JD's departure twice and I cried twice! And if I watch it a third time, I would probably cry again, because I'm very emotional. Now, to tell you the truth, there's been a lot of sadd, weepy moments on 'Scrubs', but this one in particular just seems to make everybody sad, because every time you watch it, it makes you feel as if you're never going to see the character ever again. I like to think that, and I'm sure everybody else feels that way too. But then you realise that he appeared in another season. But that never happened. This is certainly a finale to remember.
- DirectorSylvester StalloneStarsSylvester StalloneJulie BenzMatthew MarsdenIn Thailand, John Rambo joins a group of mercenaries to venture into war-torn Burma, and rescue a group of Christian aid workers who were kidnapped by the ruthless local infantry unit. This film isn't neccessarily sad or heart- warming, it's just a big ape of a man running around killing thousands of people. But it IS a good ending to the series, in the first film, Rambo is seen entering the US after a long time spent in Vietnam, hoping to live a nice, happy life. But unfortunately he's a crazy bastard and decides to go on a rampage. The second and third film, he's on a mission in some stinky foreign jungle, and then, to round it all up, he finishes his job in Burma, he returns home, thus completing his REAL last mission, being back where he should be. To me, that ties everything up.
- DirectorJeff TremaineStarsJohnny KnoxvilleSteve-OBam MargeraJohnny Knoxville and company return for the third installment of their TV show spin-off, where dangerous stunts and explicit public displays rule.'Jackass', one of the dumbest show ever made. It started in 2000 and this movie came out in 2010, marking the 10th anniversary of the show. I'm sure this film was not meant to end it, I'm pretty sure they had plenty more ideas and more antics to show to the world, Paramount Pictures actually scheduled 3 more movies for the franchise. But, unfortunately, on June 20th 2011, the 'Jackass' brotherhood lost one of their members, making this the final film in the series, and the last time we were ever made welcome to 'Jackass' by its ring- leader, Johnny Knoxville. The future of the franchise is uncertain, but for now, we have stepped out of their world.
- DirectorMike MitchellStarsMike MyersCameron DiazEddie MurphyRumpelstiltskin tricks a mid-life crisis burdened Shrek into allowing himself to be erased from existence and cast in a dark alternate timeline where Rumpelstiltskin rules supreme.I don't like DreamWorks Animation, but the only good thing to come out of its money grabbing hands is 'Shrek', the first film was great, the second one, too! The third one was okay, nothing special. But then, we were given 'Shrek Forever After', the 'Toy Story 3' of DreamWorks. It did not have a sad ending like 'Toy Story 3', but it did have a very happy ending, with Shrek coming to terms that he can't be a scary ogre anymore and has to focus more on his family. The film had the perfect tagline, and just like 'Rocky'; 'It ain't over, 'til it's over.'
- DirectorSam RaimiStarsTobey MaguireKirsten DunstTopher GraceA strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge. This film is actually a mash of several plots happening all at once, but that doesn't make it any less of a perfect end than any other film on this list. It's certainly the silliest film in the series (dance scene anyone?), but it's also the most exciting! Putting the characters in super sexy danger and peril. After the big, cool, big- budget action sequences, the film takes a break from that and decides to end the film how any romantic story should, with the 2 lovebirds dancing as they embrace their love.
- DirectorDon ManciniStarsJennifer TillyBrad DourifJohn WatersChucky and Tiffany are resurrected by their innocent gender-confused child, Glen/Glenda, and hit Hollywood, where a movie depicting the killer dolls' murder spree is underway.'Seed of Chucky' has been marked the worst in the series by quite alot of people, but I actually think that this is the best of the series, not because of Glen, or Tiffany, or the story, or the murders, but because of Chucky. He gives the film its sweet finale feel that it truly deserves, he notes that he's spent 20 years living in the body of a toy, and can now come to terms that he's an invincible killer doll. In fact, he digs it! That's why this movie is a great ending to a 5- part series, and Chucky's final death is awesome!
- DirectorKevin BrightStarsJennifer AnistonCourteney CoxLisa KudrowPhoebe races Ross to the airport in a bid to stop Rachel from leaving for Paris. Monica and Chandler pack up their apartment ahead of their move to their new house, and Joey buys Chandler a new chick and duck as a leaving present. How can I not have this on the list? This was a good show. It was funny, and had memorable characters and memorable moments. But the very last moment where they are standing in the empty apartment and leave for one last cup of coffee together makes this the most perfect ending to a good show. Then we were given 'Joey.'
- DirectorKevin MunroeStarsPatrick StewartMakoChris EvansWhen the world is threatened by an ancient evil, the Ninja Turtles must reunite and overcome their faults in order to stand against it.Another series ending that wasn't particuarly sad, but deserves to be here. 'TMNT' is set 17 years after the Turtles last outing, and all the turtles have gone their separate ways. The reason this movie is so good is because it brings the characters together again after not seeing them for a really long time. The four brothers are brought back from hiding and continue to do what they do best!... Eat Pizza!
