- DirectorJohn LasseterStarsTom HanksTim AllenDon RicklesA cowboy doll is profoundly threatened and jealous when a new spaceman action figure supplants him as top toy in a boy's bedroom. My all- time favourite movie is this masterpiece. I love Pixar and ALL their movies, but this one is my favourite. It was the very first film I saw and remember watching it again in 2005 after not watching it for a LONG ASS time! It was awesome. I found it funny, charming and heartfelt, but most of all nostalgic because it was the beginning of my childhood. When the 3rd film came out in 2010, it was as high in quality as this one, I watched it with high expectations and it became the first of 2 franchises finished from my childhood.
- DirectorTim BurtonStarsMichael KeatonJack NicholsonKim BasingerThe Dark Knight of Gotham City begins his war on crime with his first major enemy being Jack Napier, a criminal who becomes the clownishly homicidal Joker.I wasn't sure what to put in 2nd place, this or 'Spider- Man' by Sam Raimi. I went with this because not only was it directed by my favourite director, Tim Burton, but because it's just such a classic! Ever since 'The Dark Knight' came out, everybody I knew were ripping on this movie saying 'Oh, it's crap!' 'Blah, blah, blah!' Mostly, all of the newly found negative things are said about Jack Nicholson as The Joker, I watched this AFTER 'The Dark Knight' to be honest. Fair enough, Heath Ledger was great in the role, but, to me, Jack Nicholson is the definitive Joker, he has the best performance in the film, and in the 'Batman' series altogether. I love the design, the atmosphere, the actors, the characters, but most of all... the music. Danny Elfman's score is epic! The whole film is epic. Believe me, this film is now underrated and should be given a more positive reaction when compared to 'The Dark Knight'.
- DirectorSam RaimiStarsTobey MaguireKirsten DunstWillem DafoeAfter being bitten by a genetically-modified spider, a shy teenager gains spider-like abilities that he uses to fight injustice as a masked superhero and face a vengeful enemy. This film shouldn't really be 3rd, or below 'Batman' bevause they're both on the same level of awesomeness. This film is the greatest film to come from Marvel EVER! It's so beautifully made, it has heart, a great script, good comedy, good drama. You wouldn't see a Marvel film THIS good until 'Captain America', 9 years later. Sam Raimy made this film SO separate from any other 'Spider- Man' related thing as he added in his own blend of horror- comedy into the mix AND Bruce Cambell, both of which we see in 'The Evil Dead'.
- DirectorTim BurtonStarsAlec BaldwinGeena DavisMichael KeatonThe spirits of a deceased couple are harassed by an unbearable family that has moved into their home, and hire a malicious spirit to drive them out.I LOVE this film. It is Tim Burton's best film ever made and is a good film from my childhood.

- DirectorTim BurtonStarsMichael KeatonDanny DeVitoMichelle PfeifferWhile Batman deals with a deformed man calling himself the Penguin wreaking havoc across Gotham with the help of a cruel businessman, a female employee of the latter becomes the Catwoman with her own vendetta.
- DirectorChristopher NolanStarsChristian BaleHeath LedgerAaron EckhartWhen the menace known as the Joker wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham, Batman must accept one of the greatest psychological and physical tests of his ability to fight injustice.
- DirectorJeff TremaineStarsJohnny KnoxvilleBam MargeraChris PontiusJohnny Knoxville and his band of maniacs perform a variety of stunts and gross-out gags on the big screen for the first time.I put this movie down last because it's the one that I find the least important. I didn't see this during my childhood, I didn't stumble upon it when I was little, I just saw it when I was most interested in it. I first watched the film when I felt I was old enough to watch. I loved it. It was the first film I watched where I didn't have to follow any story or characters, and I bloody loved it. It's my favourite of the trilogy, not because of shock value, but because of nostalgia. I watch this every year, and haven't got sick of it since.
