Top Rated Drama Genre Films.
This list consists of the Top Rated IMDB Drama Films. These films are selected for this category, as they are stories which incorporate a diverse look of dramatised films, but cannot be tied with a specific genre.
Further Explanation Below....
Dramas are considered dramas if there is conflict. These Drama films were chosen to represent this idea as closely as possible, since Drama/conflict has to occur in every story. The genre exists as a way of categorising films which don't have specific genres tied to them. For example, Shawshank Redemption (1994) is about Prison primarily, but the Prison genre is not constant/reoccurring throughout films, so they have had to categorise it under Drama. So if there ever exists a film which cannot be tied with a specific genre, just add the Drama genre.
