- DirectorSteve WangStarsDavid HayterKathy ChristophersonBruno PatrickSean Barker, unwilling host to an alien bio-armor known as the Guyver, must fight the Kronos Corporation again before they discover the secrets of the Guyver's origin. This to some and me is an underrated cult classic. It isn't bad, or good. But it is what I call "lite good". Which is when it reaches a following of acceptance and love that it is still look at as stupid. I love this film straight up. I own the DVD which is kind of hard to find these days. The dialogue is acceptable and cheesy. But the fighting is really top notch. Koichi Sakamoto deserves praise for the fight scenes in this movie. Great fun film.
- DirectorStuart GordonStarsTim LoaneIan BeattieOlwen FouéréA space trucker and his cute fiancee are on their way from a space station to Earth with an unknown cargo. When space pirates hijack them, 5000 disintegrator robots are found in the cargo.Oh, god this films plot and setting is AMAZING. Please tell me if you're a fan of this movie you can't help but smile!! This movie has it all. Bad cheesy plot, sets, fights, story, and dialogue. Fun film that always makes me smile.
- StarsHiroshi NaganoTakami YoshimotoAkitoshi OhtakiA high-tech squadron protects Earth from evil monsters and aliens with the help of a giant super-being named Ultraman Tiga.Is this a kids show? Well hell, I like "Kaiju" stuff and this falls in that category right? I'm a sucker for authentic suits, fake city sets, and monster action. This is right up my alley. And this series is what got me into the Ultra man legacy. The best Ultra man series in my vote.
- DirectorIshirô HondaStarsRhodes ReasonMie HamaLinda MillerThe evil Dr. Who captures King Kong to dig for Element X when his robot duplicate, Mechani-Kong, is unable to do the job, but Kong soon escapes and battles his doppelganger.Out of all the King Kong films released, you are probably wondering.. Why this film? Well, I would say. "I would watch this any day over King Kong lives, Kong 05, or Kong 76(even tho I like the 05,76 movies)." This movie is just fun to watch(a word I use way to often but mostly correct), and who doesn't like Kong battling a Mecha sized Kong? I'm I right? Yes, I am.
- DirectorJun FukudaStarsAkira TakaradaKumi MizunoChôtarô TôginFour men searching for one's brother are shipwrecked on Letchi Island, where they encounter Godzilla, a monstrous lobster, and terrorists who have enslaved the natives of Infant Island.I like all of Godzilla's films. From the very first dark film of 1954, all the way to 2004's Final Wars. But, this list is "guilty pleasures" which in turn is not very liked films, either in a genre or trilogy of films. This Godzilla film is mostly not liked, hell probably hated. I like this Godzilla film. To me it wasn't serious. It had everything I wanted visual as a child, and that pretty much stuck with me. Note: This movie was suppose to be a sequel to the #4 movie on my list. But somehow they didn't think Kong was marketable? That would of been awesome to see Kong battle a giant f#@king lobster!?
- DirectorStuart GillardStarsElias KoteasPaige TurcoStuart WilsonWhen journalist April O'Neil discovers an ancient scepter with magical powers, the Turtles must cow-a-bunga their way back to 17th century Japan to rescue her from the evil clutches of Lord Norinaga.I loved this Turtles movie. I never understood the middle finger that this movie got. I guess the setting and plot was too dumb that even a 5 year old didn't like it. Me on the other hand, enjoyed it alot. And I think this is very underrated as a Turtles movie.
- DirectorCharles BandStarsTim ThomersonTracy ScogginsMelissa BehrJudith Grey teams with Brick Bardo (Dollman) and his girlfriend Ginger to face the evil Demonic Toys for one final battle.Uhh.. What a stupid movie right? Well, I can't help but smile when I watch this. I don't know how someone like me at the age of 5 would be allowed to watch this. But I was lucky to stumble upon a lot of Charles Ban movies and well, I loved the hell out of them for being so damn cheesy and sub par. This movie is one of them.
- DirectorDennis DuganStarsChris FarleyNicollette SheridanRobin ShouA man tries to rescue a woman with a little help from his half brother.Oh, Chris Farley. How you left us too soon. He was one hell of a funny dude, and his movies today are a favorite choice of comedies I pick to watch. This one is goofy in a sense(lu-kang is in it). But, I seen this in theaters and loved every minute of it. Still do today.
- DirectorRoland EmmerichStarsWill SmithBill PullmanJeff GoldblumThe aliens are coming and their goal is to invade and destroy Earth. Fighting superior technology, mankind's best weapon is the will to survive. Why is this movie hated? Someone or anyone can answer me this, because I'm confused how a movie that lives up to a "summer blockbuster" and then some, can be so overlooked and hated. I heard their was a sequel in the works, and I'm excited even more.
- DirectorKevin ReynoldsStarsKevin CostnerJeanne TripplehornDennis HopperIn a future where the polar ice-caps have melted and Earth is almost entirely submerged, a mutated mariner fights starvation and outlaw "smokers," and reluctantly helps a woman and a young girl try to find dry land.I put this movie in here because I think it's underrated. Why the hate? I never understood. Probably because of the over budget and the critics wanted it to bomb. But, to me it's a great adventure film. Kevin Costner is awesome and believable as a drifter mutant at sea. Solid cheesy movie with great cinematography.
- DirectorPeter ManoogianStarsTracy ScogginsBentley MitchumDaniel CernyA pregnant policewoman, her quarry, and an innocent delivery boy become trapped in a haunted toy warehouse.Well, well. Charles Bands first evil toy movie before the team up "Dollman/Demonic Toys" flick. I remember this, and will never forget that evil ass jack in the box clown. F#@king gave me nightmares as a child. This is underrated horror. Silly, dumb, and goofy. But does what it's suppose to do. Give the audience something different in the "evil toy" department. And I thank Charles Band for making this.
- DirectorRowdy HerringtonStarsPatrick SwayzeKelly LynchSam ElliottA bouncer hired to clean up the baddest honkytonk in a Missouri town. Armed with a black belt in karate and a degree in philosophy, Patrick Swayze sets out to tame the Double Deuce for its owner."Road House"
- Peter Griffin roundhouse kicks a fast food window
That's all that needs to be said ;) - DirectorJan de BontStarsSandra BullockJason PatricWillem DafoeA computer hacker breaks into the computer system of the Seabourn Legend cruise liner and sets it speeding on a collision course into a gigantic oil tanker. This movie flew over every ones head, and completely panned and overlooked. I cry foul. What where they expecting? You can't do better than Speed(1994). So, what's the problem? I enjoyed the hell out of this movie. I think I seen this a realistic 12 times fully through. Love it every time.
- DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsJeff GoldblumJulianne MoorePete PostlethwaiteA research team is sent to the Jurassic Park Site B island to study the dinosaurs there, while an InGen team approaches with another agenda.Jurassic Park was the first movie I ever seen in a theater. No *beep* I remember clearly. So when the sequel came out in 97. I was probably 8-9ish about that time, and I loved it more than the original. I know there is big plot holes and some very unnecessary dark themes in it(like Eddie didn't need to die in such a tragic way). But overall I loved this movie. It's the only copy of Jurassic Park films that I got on DVD.
