- StarsMaaya SakamotoMamoru MiyanoMasaya MatsukazeYou'll fall for the Ouran Host Club: Tamaki's truly romantic. Kaoru and Hikaru display brotherly love, Kyoya's brainy, Honey's innocent, and Mori's manly. Oh, and don't forget Haruhi. He knows what girls want, because he's a girl too.Cute characters once you understand. Enjoyed the humor and emotions. ^_^
- CreatorTahiko KimuraStarsTodd HaberkornAlexis TiptonJohn SwaseyA cute mermaid saves Nagasumi from drowning and to avoid the wrath of her yakuza merman father he agrees to marry her.My Bride Is A Mermaid. Was okay, emotions were more sloppy, and engrish and the tried and failed use of a southern accent made this series slight annoying. But I watched it through no problems.
- StarsNana MizukiDaisuke KishioTodd HaberkornTskune accidentally gets on a bus to a school of monsters.Rosario + Vampire. Lots of panty shots and upskirts- got worse as the series progressed, but easy to get to know and overlook... was fun counting how many times in one episode they showed a crotch. haha!

- StarsJamie MarchiBrina PalenciaJessie James GrelleAll the students in a school are distributed according to their individual score in a test into six section and are treated according to their section.Tried watching this. Not that it wasn't modest. The artwork backgrounds took simplicity to a comic book level that I enjoyed. But it reminded me of a cross between the confusion of Digimon battles and maturity of a college humor movie. Didn't watch but the pilot. Blah.
- StarsYutaka KoizumiYui MakinoMichael C. PizzutoThis surreal dramedy follows Satou Tatsuhiro as he attempts to escape the evil machinations of the NHK.Watched the Pilot. Suppose this could've been okay. A lot of internal dialogue. Reminded me of a slow moving "I Am The Cheese"... I could read this. Stopped watching.
- StarsShinnosuke TachibanaSaori HayamiMarina InoueMinato fails college exams twice leaving him feeling worthless. A woman Musubi falls from the sky and bonds with Minato via a kiss awakening his powers. This draws Minato into a dangerous competition against others with special abilities. They should've named this series "Torpedo Tits". Because that is all I saw- seriously, they distracted me that much. Terrible use of the female figure. I couldn't get but through the first 5 or 10 min of the pilot... as soon as the title song began I stopped it. Blah.
- StarsYuri LowenthalMamiko NotoMichelle RuffSmall for his age, Yukinari has been bullied and abused by girls all his life. Now in high school, he has developed a rare condition: whenever girls touch him, or even come close, he breaks out in hives. Imagine his surprise, when he is suddenly transported to the city of Seiren on a mystic world invisibly orbiting the Earth, and populated with vast numbers of women and very few men. Fortunately, he has a new friend, Miharu-chan, whose touch inexplicably doesn't affect him.Tolerated watching it- The idea was a boy, allergic to girls (because they treat him so horrible for being petite for his age), was ironically transported to another planet where males are rare (for whatever reasons). And for some reason kept having dike-esc, hotties, wannabe-pornstars, and little girls alike keep falling for him. Why it wasn't a 5star: Every episode was a girl being violated, molested, or comfortably getting naked. According to this anime, every man is a pervert and every female is violent. Sexual innuendo was abundant- down to a girl licking a banana before she ate it and lesbian love. Oh yeah, and ta-tas are enhanced regardless if they were dressed in a sweater, sports coat, or fluffy dress.
- StarsYukari TamuraAtsushi AbeYui HorieA 15-year-old girl has a goal of bedding 100 boys. The trouble is she's a virgin who knows nothing about dating, relationships, or sex.Yamada's First Time! Was about a girl who assumed she was too horny to wait to have sex (at 15 years old), and built like a 23 year old woman. lolz! Throughout she realizes that instead of having sex with her goal 100 boys, she honestly only has feelings for one- and the awkwardness between them both being nervous to get just past first base on purpose made them naive and innocent as well. I expected panty shots and nipples, but don't recall any making their way onto center stage! Impressive! Cute, but I felt a little squirmish myself trying to justify why I was watching a cartoon about a tween seeking out contraceptives and sex hotels.
- StarsLaura BaileyChiaki OmigawaMicah SolusodSet in the Shinigami technical school, the series revolves around a partnership between a weapon meisters and a human weapons. Trying to reach a ranking of "Death Scythe" they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch.Soul Eater(Sôru îtâ): At first I wasn't certain I could follow the story line well enough to enjoy the plot. However, after entertaining the idea that Lord Death was a kooky character, then learning he used to be more serious, enabled me to the conclusion that "yeah, it's a cool series!" The two main characters (the girl and Sol) are hard to pin down, but it is hard to find English words that lip sync well enough to the Japanese language without feeling a little goofy.
- CreatorHiro MashimaMasashi SogoStarsCherami LeighTodd HaberkornTia Lynn BallardLucy, an aspiring Celestial Wizard, becomes a friend and ally to powerful wizards Natsu, Gray, and Erza, who are part of the (in)famous wizard guild, Fairy Tail. The fantasy ideas in this were what got me interested. I basically used it as back ground noise, however. My sidekick got into it- sort of. I think he just likes singing along with the starting titles. I could not say how this one ended. Although, there were several genres of characters, I remember few.
- DirectorKaoriMasaki TachibanaStarsTerri DotyKara EdwardsAyumi FujimuraTobias, Mary, and Sakuya challenge the impregnable "The One Shin", but they lose their way in the maze and unintentionally trap other guild members. A mysterious cat is watching their blunder. Is it another player character or NPC?I watched this (the complete OVA- all 3 volumes) via Netflix, and realized after first a rocky start, then an interest, that there are only three parts to this film. It is about a group of people basically playing a bastardized version of World of Warcraft or an MMORPG. But the World became tainted by something so the people in the World could not escape, because someone was trying to find a cure in a false reality for some sick kid? Well I'm sure if I ever watch it again, it would make better sense.. the second time around. Also playing the video game wouldn't hurt. Heh. u.u
- StarsColleen ClinkenbeardBrina PalenciaMonica RialRyoko-san and her friends at the Otogi Bank help classmates with their problems, in exchange for their help later on.AKA "Okami-san and Her Seven Companions". Was just able to see Season 1 via Netflix. Cute characters- I enjoyed their outfits, especially the main character Okamisan! She fights with kitten mitten boxing gloves that meow. Yes, yet another "strong female" who isn't afraid to punch the one guy who is deeply in love with her. Any strong woman wouldn't let their guard down long enough to have their heart stolen- and broken, right? Well, not sure what Okamisan's other companions are doing, other that starting what appeared to be a Robinhood style Fight Club! (Yes, yet another obsession with school clubs!) At first I though the old woman narrator voice would make me loose interest- especially the high volume dub they throw into the background while in the middle of the characters talking... made it a little hard to hear what was going on (on both parts), but overall it was cute enough for higher than just my "didn't hate it, but didn't love it" 5 star ratio! ^_^
- StarsSarah HauserRie TanakaCrispin FreemanHideki finds the discarded and malfunctioning Persocom Chi, a personal computer that looks like a girl. While trying to fix and care for Chi, Hideki discovers that she might be a Chobits, a robot of urban legend that has free will.Watched the first, and only season. As I thought it would happen, the idea is behind artificial intelligence going as far as we "teach" our computers to be. This being said, a Persocon is such an A.I. that also looks and feels like a human (only with obvious cat or rabbit ears jutting out the side of the head). Some awkward overreacting nerdy guy "finds" one in the garbage. He learns it is "turned on" where the vagina should be.... -_- .... I figured as much. The reactions are hilarious sometimes, characters to every extreme in personality, yet oddly enough- question of wtf is going on are quickly answered. And as usual, every minor thing that can be taken wrong is automatically tuned to the "NO I'M NOT A PERVE" reaction. (Better than upskirt shots and animated nipples I guess!) Overall, for a science fiction Anime, I liked it!
- StarsTravis WillinghamCherami LeighTodd HaberkornShibuya Psychic Research Center investigates supernatural occurrences all over Japan.Only one season worth. At first I thought this guy and girl would go around proving the supernatural didn't exist. When in fact, it always did through psychokinesis, demons, etc. The end started fizzling out- you know, when they were wrapping up the plot. I can't say I watched it, but they tried opening up plot holes that I wasn't in the mood to fill. The characters weren't too overbearing... although after hearing the first intro line at the beginning of every episode got old pretty quick for me. She has to explain why she refers to the main male character as 'Naru'- because he's so neurotic and arrogant...right...wtf!
- CreatorKatsura HoshinoStarsSanae KobayashiTodd HaberkornShizuka ItouYoung Allen Walker, an exorcist, fights Akuma to save the world.Watched 2 Seasons via Netflix. The ideal premise is: Innocence is a tangible thing that not everyone carries. There are evil, demons, who seek after that Innocence. So the "Exorcists" are there to protect the Innocence, which also serves as the only weapon that can destroy said Evil; along with your average joe humans and their souls! (Would have been better if they just renamed Innocence to something different- it was Soul in Soul Eater. And you know, for an organization to be such a big secret, there certainly are a lot of people who know about it.) But these Evil are cunning, and always on the look out, prowling around for any scrap of Innocence- and usually trick regular humans. Guess I should mention the Evil usually tricks a human into basically giving up their life (or soul) over the promise they can be with the person they are grieving for. So, the Devil is all "look, give me your life and eternal soul and you can be together forever"- only Forever turns them into a weird balloon, encasing the withered zombie-ghost body of the deceased loved one, and entrapping them in a constant state of wanting to be released... and who can only be set free by the Exorcists and their "weapons of 'Innocence'". (For one woman, her Innocence is derived from her connection to a grandfather clock- so in order to become an Exorcist, she has to lug it around, fighting the Evil.) Yeah, confusing, I know. But all around a cool Anime for sure! After the hype it received through reviews, ratings, and referrals; I am glad this one turned out to be the gem it was promised to be!
- StarsAoi YûkiColleen ClinkenbeardMonica RialVampire queen Mina Tepes comes out of hiding to offer peace between vampires and humans. Japan gives her a bund, where she goes to live with her people. However, extremist human and vampire groups do not want to coexist. With just 1 Season...The Vampire Princess had 'outed' herself, and began attending school. She wanted to form the 'Vampire Bund'- a place Vampires could attend. She meets a guy familiar to her, hellbent on a 'promise' he had once made; but his memory of her was lost. Later regaining that memory, and realizing he isactually a Warewolf who promised to protect her! Phew, intense! The artwork was either a real-to-cg Photoshop flop or amazingly put together, with beautiful backgrounds, and character lines. The main character (the Vampire Princess) had an annoying voice, and mainly whined as a child about how grown up she was! Occasionally she redeemed herself by doing something "human" and unexpected. However, her interest in the older male character brings reverse-pedophilia to mind, since he tries his darnedest to resist her GIRLish figure. Moreover, a girl (regardless of her immortal age) with the body of a 10 year old, posing in risque lingerie or fighting in the nude seems inappropriate. With an understanding that she would appear older if she wasn't a vampire, remaining frozen in time and body. The rating is based on unnecessary nudity and an annoying main character that seemed to overpower the storyline.
- StarsRyohei KimuraSaori HayamiJason LiebrechtOn November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike Japan. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be called as "Careless Monday," does not result in any apparent victims, and is soon forgotten by almost everyone. Then, 3 months later... Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into trouble, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her. However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery. He appears to have lost his memory. and he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he's holding with the other hand. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash. The story reminds me of a cross between The Bourne Identity and an ungory Saw and Trading Places... A guy who loses his memory meets a girl, and saves her from being arrested. But the story isn't about the girl. Although "Eden of the East" is the name of a business she is trying form- from what I gather, they are computer hackers?... A certain amount of people are given a special phone with anything at their disposal, and a certain amount of money to play a 'game'. They were to change the world within the limits of the money, and expected to spend the money regularly. However when it ran out, if they had not changed the world for the better, they would be killed. Within this group of people, there are also those who play and one who is to observe and decide who among them isn't playing the Game well enough- and are to be terminated. The main guy is seen as a terrorist, based on his "changes", whether he set them in motion or not. He is trying to regain his memory, and at the same time, play the game or stop it all together. He meets up with other players, trying to figure out where it all started, and who is framing him as a terrorist. Loved this Anime style (although it looks a bit cutsie at first, it certainly surprised me through story)! Voices were familiar and less annoying than most dubs too.
- DirectorKenji KamiyamaStarsTroy BakerBrandon PotterTodd HaberkornThe game is finally coming to a conclusion. The authorities are closing in on Saki and her friends, while the Selecaos' maneuvering start to bring us closer to the truth about Mr. Outside. Also, we finally learn the truth about how and why Akira wants to become the King of Eden. The Movie to finish up the Series. Loved it just as much as the series! Loose ends all tied up!
- StarsChiwa SaitôHiroshi KamiyaMonica RialWhen Kouhei frees a cute vampire from a castle, she follows him home and starts causing trouble. The story revolves around a vampire, Hazuki, saved from a castle by the same guy she can't enslave through a bite, Kouhei. And throughout, the vampire is trying to be retrieved back to the castle by other vampires and creatures to become the dark vampire. Later, Kouhei gains a suppressed magical power to help her. I tolerated this anime for vampires, magic, and the "wtf" factor. When a younger looking vampire finds interest in an older looking male, Kouhei *no surprise*. She finds that regardless of biting him (or 'kissing'), she can't turn him into her slave- he is somehow immune. And every full moon she is 'itching' to feed (hence where Moon Phase comes in). Considering she calls Kouhei 'big brother' seems ideally incest *as usual*. Also, there is conflict when learned that Kohei is 'promised' to marry one of his younger cousins- seriously incest. Oh yeah, and they introduce another jealous even younger female, the vampire's sister! And the most annoying character in the series-when the black cat Hijinx is turned into a small girl with an annoying voice and a lisp- a SECOND character with a speech impediment. (The two ending episodes were a bit odd and misleading. Guess the animators and what not were looking for some less serious fun.)
- CreatorShun MatsuenaStarsJessie James GrelleCarrie SavageChristopher Sabat"Weak Legs" Kenichi Shirahama would rather spend his time reading self improvement books than fighting.A kid who always gets his ass handed to him decides to stand up and learn how to defend himself. I slept through most of the series- seriously. The artwork was lower in standard- partially old school animation, and partially lazy "dramatic emotions". The usual standing characters in a fighting ring-style anime- one old pervert always taking photos of younger women, innocent younger women with breasts too large even for a grown woman, and EVERY character has overly enhanced muscles! I also noticed the "Digimon Theory" going on- when something new and unexplained comes about, someone has to narrate wth is going on in order for the viewer to understand. Even still, it doesn't make sense... The martial art lessons of integrity and standards remain the constant theme. Perseverance and belief in ones abilities and knowing ones limits are also constantly being taught. However, I only found the last few episodes keeping my gaze. Wouldn't watch it again, unless I had a complete life change, and cheezy martial arts movies were my thing... Karate Kid anyone?
- DirectorJôji ShimuraHa YooStarsLee Jung-jaePark So-damKim Eui-sungA nameless hero in command of a secret human weapon arises from the ashes of the fallen Jushin empire to defend the people from zombies, cannibals and beasts.Aka "Blade of the Phantom Master: Shin Angyo Onshi". A Movie, with no tv series as I expected, of a warrior who summons what I can only describe as a creepy mask wearing, well built, monster army of a fallen warrior clan. Summoned for the purpose of "punishing" either with a good beating or death, or to restore balance of life and death- or good vs evil. For instance, took down a strong-arm politician's army that helped the village overcome and overthrow the tyrant. Then made his fallen army beat up a ship merchant for selling guns. Killed an evil Doctor keeping a "zombie" town- and then proceeded to kill off the recently deceased, but revived citizens! Balance restored, he walked off into the sunset (but not before giving one more "life lesson" quote)... with a young female companion that he happened to pick up along the way- of course. Nothing special about the movie. Not even the backgrounds were too interesting. The only memorable detail would be the hairband that the guys wears from off a fallen kid. Noted only because it's a dude, wearing a headband. -.-
- CreatorUme AokiAtsuhiro IwakamiAkiyuki ShinbôStarsAoi YûkiChiwa SaitôEmiri KatoA creature named Kyubey offers Madoka and Sayaka a wish if they agree to become 'magical girls' and fight abstract beings called 'witches'. However, a magical girl named Homura is, for uncertain reasons, determined to stop this agreement.Madoka Magica for short...Madoka Kaname is a young girl who meets a cat-looking character that asks if she would become a "magic girl" in exchange for a wish granted. A close friend of hers ends up being one, but a new classmate prohibits Madoka from saying 'yes'. Magic Girls fight Witches- evil entities that cause tragedy. (When the witches appear, the artwork turns into a 5 year olds scrapbook- far from the artwork used in the main story. Threw me off a bit at first.) But later it is revealed that the Magic Girls souls darken and turn into the very Witches they seek to destroy! So, After a spiral of going "back in time", to the present, and back again, the plot unfolds and explains itself in full. It leads us to believe the "cat" is an Incubator, a being from another planet, basically using humans as cattle for their Soul Energy. And that they new classmate is in fact such a close friend to the main character that she keeps turning back time to save her friend the terrible fate of death. Yeah, the real ending is a kick in the boot. But, eventually (after getting over the cats narratives), I grew to like the series.
- CreatorMasaki KajishimaStarsKari WahlgrenRichard EpcarKirk ThorntonThe misadventures of Tenchi's unlucky nephew.Or, Galaxy Police Transporter! Once again the main character, Tenchi, is an unattractive, clumsily unlucky, shy kid on Earth, and is recruited into the Galaxy Police by some well built women. Yet he seems to attract every female species he encounters- who all obsess and wish to marry him- which ironically also gives him 'dumb-luck' encounters to be a great shipman. Tenchi also happens to have a weird connection with a rabbit (who for some reason Meows like a cat), whom when together, can "link" with the spaceship to drive it? Or jump to a location? I'm still foggy on what he does exactly- the mellow drama between him and the almost full female cast distracts from the real plot... This animation, although from 2002, reminded me of old school 1980s anime. Both in art-style and cheese factor. Can't say I enjoyed this one, campy nostalgia I would rather forget. Oh yeah, and the ending is quite a peach- he ends up having a "political marriage" with ALL the women crushing on him. *eye roll*
- CreatorShin'ichirô WatanabeStarsKazuya NakaiGinpei SatoAyako KawasumiFuu, a waitress who works in a teahouse, rescues two master swordsmen, Mugen and Jin, from their execution to help her find the "samurai who smells of sunflowers."Three traveling companions, meeting at a dumpling restaurant where a young woman, Fuu, works- one man, Mugen saves the girl from a gang, then enter man #2, Jin with glasses. The two men choose to fight for the sake of the challenge? The girl makes a deal with them to save their duel until they help her travel to to find "The Samurai who smells of Sunflowers" (ie her father). A lot of great fight scenes, which I am normally neither here nor there about. Also, a lot of eating going on. lol Loved the artwork in this anime. Although they didn't throw in any chibi animations for the extra dramatic feelings, I did laugh when they "chubby-faced" a character who was sulking (or the girl who literally got fat after eating a lot). A few humorous moments, and a complete story plot. Enjoyed it a lot, not my favorite of faves, but great as a whole 9/10!
- StarsNobuhiko OkamotoBryce PapenbrookJun FukuyamaAfter discovering that he's the son of Satan, a young man must join the True Cross Academy in order to master his abilities and defeat Satan himself.Watched Season 1 with English Subtitles. Two twin brothers, one a blue-fire demon, son of Satan, who ironically (was adopted by a priest and) chooses to fight against evil, becoming an Exorcist; while his brother was (unknown to him) already excelling at being an Exorcist, and teaching it! A lot of sentimental father-and-son and friends-for-life moments- I guess making it a positive learning experience for younger kids watching. Characters are a drama switch- constantly overacting. But the quick faces of sulking or back talk go to "bird-beak" or "chubby-face", making me occasionally giggle- classic! The music seemed to be out of place most of the time- there was a piano compilation they used that, at first, reminded me of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood... Then upon further listening, I figured out it sounded almost EXACTLY like the piano music in The Sims PC game when you are in build mode! No yuk!
- CreatorKinoko NasuGen UrobuchiStarsAyako KawasumiKari WahlgrenSayaka ÔharaSeven chosen mages and their summoned heroic spirits fight against each other to try and win the Holy Grail: a magical device that can grant any wish.War of the Holy Grail!...I thought this was odd, set in present day, a group of people are marked with a "tattoo" that allows them to take control (if needed) over other past beings who were "real", but only personified as their Legends followed. (The servants included a Joan of Ark-type, Gilgamesh, Lancelot, and Bluebeard .) The group of people, along with their servants, are in a contest of sorts. Last man standing is granted a wish from the Holy Grail. There was a small amount of information I managed to miss, but filled in the gaps as to the ending story. Although there were twists I waited to unravel, I wasn't much into it on the whole. The best part were the encouraging ways to be a better person via the character Rider aka Alexander the Great
- StarsJ. Michael TatumBrina PalenciaMichael C. PizzutoCiel Phantomhive takes care of the many unsettling events in Victorian England. Aided by Sebastian Michaelis, his loyal butler with seemingly inhuman abilities. But is there more to this black-clad butler than meets the eye?First Season, watched... I enjoyed the young boy with his satanic Butler- who is only waiting on the day he finishes helping the child seek revenge on the people who killed his parents- just so he can suck out his soul... And he talks about it like a chicken hawk would about suckling eggs. Creepy. I also thought it clever to introduce angels as being a bad force, as you would think demons. Yet, the demons in this case only ever harmed those who already had done wrong. Then, introducing grim reapers who were more a neutral force. I was also surprised to see the young boy acting much more mature for his age- especially after seeing Moon Phase *ugh*. Watched it, but meh, I wouldn't try to channel it a second round.

I found myself able to catch up easily, without knowing an entire story, as bits of the overall plot weren't too hard to place. I didn't find it too interesting. Although, I am not much of a mecha fan- the Transformers from the 80s was as close as I have gotten, yet even today I can't seem to stomach it. Sorry.

- StarsYôko HikasaJessie James GrelleTia Lynn BallardHilarity and fun ensues when Satan ends up in modern day Japan without any magic to return, and starts working part time in a fast food joint."The Devil is a Part-Timer" 1 season...in a world separate from our own, called Ente Isla, Satan Jacob sent out four underlings (those included Lucifer and General Alciel), only to be defeated by Hero Emilia Justina. Satan escapes through a portal that leads into our known world. Emilia follows, and they are all subjected to being human, with magical powers depleted, and forced into getting part-time jobs. Satan and Alciel work at a fast food restaurant called "MgRonalds"- with their leading competitor being "Santucky" Fried Chicken or SFC. The humor is here and there. The usual 16 year old girl is "gifted" with an almost-torpedo-chest, and of course, lusts after Satan. Satan, now appealing to human emotions, seems to be more noble than the Church and Angels that seek his head. Whom, in the end, Satan kicks some hypocritically self-righteous butt!
- StarsMonica RialKana HanazawaGreg AyresAfter being falsely convicted for the murder of his entire class, a young man must learn to survive in a mysterious prison with a perverted take on incarceration while also looking to clear his name.Really enjoyed this one! Reminded me: if The Hunger Games had a threesome with Zombieland and The Condemned... Inmates were gladiator fighting to win preloaded cards they used as currency to buy food and the "candy" that keeps them alive in the event their allotted time runs out and the collar they're wearing injects them with poison. This however is all just a cover up for experiments and 'The Red Man', whom in the beginning inserted a stone into Ganta's chest. Although I didn't find the characters likeable (besides two male characters), I was curious to know wth was going on! The main character, a boy named Ganta, tries to figure out the prison he is sentenced to- and why. Come to find out he was set up, by the Themepark-prison Warden; and that the mysterious childish girl, Shiro, he has befriended he knows from younger. (Shiro had that amazingly ANNOYING female kid voice used in other dubbed animes btw!) SPOILERS: Shiro, Ganta, and The Red Man now all seem to possess something called "Branch of Sin"- which is just special dark powers. In the end, the gang of good guys (including my two fave characters) were killed off, and a creepy crazed boy named Toto is awaiting to drink Ganta's blood to "taste" his Branch of Sin. Ewe. SEASON TWO was just a back story for one of the characters, before he got thrown into the Prison.

The story takes place in another world, filled with supernatural forces and shadowy creatures called "Creatures of Grimm"; who just happened to show up out of the blue from a hole in the earth some years prior..."Dust" was discovered, and used as protection to power magical abilities and weapons. The series focuses on four girls at a magic school for training against the Grimm, and using such powers- each with her own unique weapon and powers (Like Ruby's scythe/automatic weapon). Although the main characters are a Pagan Wolf Goddess taking on human-esc form, and a merchant goods seller, I expected more magic! However, it was more-or-less about economy and politics in a land similar to Europe in the Middle Ages. Obviously the title is a play on the actual diety's form and what a merchant would sell. Clever. ^_^

Things called "dungeons" appeared all over this Indian world, and those who enter and live are able to retrieve magical items that give them powers and genie forces, then know as Dungeon Capturers. Aladdin, in this story, is a reincarnation of a life-giver, or Magi (much like the Dhali Lama). Alibaba is a stubborn large hearted king-grown-up-in-the-slums. Sinbad is a powerful genie wielding king. Morgiana...a slave girl, freed by Aladdin and Alibaba. (Ja'far, btw, is a good sidekick to Sinbad.) The story focuses on their meeting, then parting ways, but eventually colliding again- working with other Capturers to fight off evil, and political wrongdoings, of course. Interesting enough to watch, and has a lot of motivational moments of courage and perseverance... yuck. lol

- CreatorDaisuke SatôStarsJun'ichi SuwabeEri KitamuraNobuyuki HiyamaHigh school students are overwhelmed with the start of the zombie apocalypse.Watched full 1st season dubed, and an OVA Island of the Dead, if you will. Mainly I couldn't get over how highly detailed the up-skirt shots and breast squeezing was. (I have never seen a high school student built better than their mom... just saying.) And once again, Japanese story telling gave the "little man" a place amongst several women- whom ALL have the hots for him. Of course. I thought perhaps the water had something to do with their on-a-dime sexual personality snaps. But it never seemed to take that route. Overall, it lacked what impressed me most... Had the animators focused more on the background detail and less on highlighting the panty shots, I might have given it style points. I found this similar to watching a B Horror Zombie movie. *sigh* I also heard rumor of the second season releasing in 2015. We shall see!

He finds it difficult to live in comfort when he has to put up with Sohara Mitsuki, his next-door neighbor with a killer karate chop; Eishiro Sugata, an eccentric pseudo-scientist bent on discovering the "New World"; and Mikako Satsukitane, their school's sadistic student council president. One night, while he was witnessing a strange anomaly in the sky, a UMA (Unidentified Mysterious Animal) crash-landed nearby. Tomoki discovers that what fell from the sky is a winged female humanoid named Ikaros from an unknown world of Synapse, who soon declares herself to be Tomoki's servant. From then on, more creatures known as "Angeloids" arrive; with this, he loses his peace and quiet, but at the same time finds pleasant things the Angeloids bring him, and fight the forces that fall upon Earth." Basically another perverted teenage boy always thinking about boobs and skirts gets an Angel who decides to become his servant. Then another Angel makes the same decision, after retiring from being the enemy... They both battle the voices from the sky, telling them to destroy all things.. These children are born as mutations for unknown reasons, and the mutation is spread by touch of these arms to a normal human. For some reason the chola ten kill their parents by a certain age- they go crazy insane & kill for the "good feeling" mirder gives them. This series follows 2 of these mutants. One who has developed a split personality, after encountering a boy who befriended her, the. Killing his father and younger sister as a child. Later in she escapes the facility she and iterate like her are being held cruelly and experimented on. She fatefully meets up with the same boy, yet with the personality they call "Mew"- because that is all she says, acting as a all child. Another mutant is sent to kill her, yet is actually good and well behaved from the facility due to the man she calls and considers "Father". He iOS living in regret due to his own horned child was treated poorly in the se facility that he worked. So much so that his real daughter was the most horrible version if them all! The only way he can return to the realm of the gods is by collecting the evil auras which take over human hearts. Forming a detective agency specializing in paranormal things and aided by his loyal companion Yamino and soon joined by a human girl named Mayura who is unusually obsessed with mysteries. The adventures begin and are far from slowing down.In this series, you see Norse god Loki in a human boy form. Loki goes by a different name, as does his two sons (one acting as a butler type sidekick- actually a huge anaconda, & a wolf in form of a black puppy), daughter, and brother Thor. Loki hunts down Norse evil and demons, at first to collect their flames in hope to return home- after being ban ashes by father Odin. Odin sends other gods to attempt to kill Loki. One being the Goddess of love- who happens to be Loki's past love interest, and 3 fates/muses. An odd girl, Myra, who created "The Mystery Club" decided to join Loki & company to hunt down anything considered a "mystery (aliens, ghosts, etc.)". The first season ends with most of them returning home, but Loki staying behind for Myra.
This series was okay- easy to follow. It was better than many I have attempted to watch. It tried to be funny at times- I believe Myra and a guy on mechanical flying pig was intended to be comical relief. But it also tried to be more serious, with Love interests & jealous daughters seeking revenge. - DirectorDante LamStarsNicholas TseRaymond LamRichie JenWhen some of the greatest swordsmen in the world are brutally murdered, Wind, Cloud, and the massacre's only survivor, Ngou, battle for a blood that holds powerful gifts. This movie was done with nicely drawn characters, and with help from what seemed more CG. The story was easy to follow, once I realized all of the different characters. There wasn't much personal connection- both main characters were as mundane as the last. Seems like they put more effort I to the fight scenes. I understood the back story, with little attention to their brief recaps. In short, if I had saw any previous films involving these characters, I might've been more enthused.
