Unintentionally Funny Movies
These are movies that were trying to be taken seriously, but for some reason came out too silly for me to take seriously. Not in any order, these are the movies that somehow made me laugh and what I recommend when you're having a bad day.

- DirectorTommy WiseauStarsTommy WiseauJuliette DanielleGreg SesteroIn San Francisco, an amiable banker's seemingly perfect life is turned upside down when his deceitful fiancée embarks on an affair with his best friend.Of course this would be on any hilariously bad movies list. It is so bizarrely bad that it is funny. Nothing about this movie is done right, the acting's wrong, the script is bogus, and you could make a drinking game out of how many times they repeat "I love Mark, not Johnny," toss a football, have pictures of spoons, and anytime Johnny says "Hi".
- DirectorPitofStarsHalle BerrySharon StoneBenjamin BrattA shy woman, endowed with the speed, reflexes, and senses of a cat, walks a thin line between criminal and hero, even as a detective doggedly pursues her, fascinated by both of her personas.Yes, it's a very bad movie, especially when trying to take itself seriously as a super-hero movie. Even on its own merits, it's silly to think that Hallie Berry would look at the script and not question rubbing cat nip on her face, literally acting like a cat, and making horrible cat puns. Though I don't think she was terrible when trying to bring her role to life, none of her talents could save anything, even if anyone else had been cast as Catwoman. Most of the other actors, as hard as they try, all fail. The costume also looks like Hallie would rather be sexy than protect her skin from gunfire.
- DirectorTim BurtonStarsEva GreenAsa ButterfieldSamuel L. JacksonWhen Jacob (Asa Butterfield) discovers clues to a mystery that stretches across time, he finds Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. But the danger deepens after he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers.I haven't read the books yet, but from what my older sister said, these books were gift wrapped for Tim Burton and he barely took advantage of any of them. The first half is solid when establishing plots, characters, their abilities, and the conflicts. It's the second half where everything gets ridiculous. The villain (Samuel L. Jackson) not only is over the top goofy, but he looks like he's dying to swear his head off. Also the final conflict has got to be the silliest thing I've ever seen in a PG-13 movie ever (and that says a lot): The peculiar children bring skeletons to life so they can fight off monsters that want to eat their eyes. I can't even say that without laughing! Every time I see the skeletons I keep expecting to hear "What's this" or "Remains of the Day" playing in the background. Also, Miss Peregrine hides the children from these monsters, when really they can fight back. One child flies, one can create artificial life, and two twins Medusa's power (look at their face and you turn to stone). Yet somehow, they aren't used to defeat the villain. Only Jake, who doesn't have as interesting powers as them defeats the villain.
- DirectorCourtney SolomonStarsJustin WhalinJeremy IronsZoe McLellanProfion, a tyrant, attempts to overthrow a peaceful kingdom ruled by a tough empress. How much was the script writer paid? How did Thora Birch's acting go downhill? Why does nobody question the blue lipstick on a soldier? Why do we have annoying incompetent imbeciles for heroes? How did Jeremy Irons go from subtle actor to over the top and "Hatatatatatah"? How was the CGI so ridiculous? Why does nobody talk normally? How do you mess up on what should be a fun adaptation of a board game? Is it fun to watch? Absolutely.
- DirectorBill CondonStarsKristen StewartRobert PattinsonTaylor LautnerAfter the birth of Renesmee/Nessie, the Cullens gather other vampire clans in order to protect the child from a false allegation that puts the family in front of the Volturi.I'm including the whole saga, just the last one to sum up everything. I heard people love or hate the series and I wanted to know why. I enjoy it as a laughably series. The acting is wooden, the script, while can be good in some areas are clumsy in others, the moments meant to be taken seriously just crack me up for some reason, and Breaking Dawn part 2 has the biggest cop out I have ever seen in any movie ever: Alice shows a vision and there's an all out war going on for fifteen minutes before realizing that it was all just a vision. Of course I make fun of the same things most people do: Bella not smiling, Jacob's shirtless habit, the CGI baby, sparkling vampires, and so on.
My favorite hilarious moment is any moment with Aro. Yes, he's suppose to be treated like a Reverend Dracula (one of the biggest vampires ever), but Shakespearean actor Michael Sheen just hams up every moment that it's hard to not laugh at his performance. The way he laughs, pitches his voice high up, and holding someone's hand (he looks like he's about to kiss them). He brings so much joy to the whole series.
I don't hate it, but I certainly enjoy it in a way it wasn't intended to be enjoyed. - StarsRichard ThomasTim ReidAnnette O'TooleIn 1960, seven pre-teen outcasts fight an evil demon who poses as a child-killing clown. Thirty years later, they reunite to stop the demon once and for all when it returns to their hometown. It's Tim Curry in a clown outfit!!! I know it was meant to be scary, but for some reason, clowns never scared me, and Tim Curry cements that. Every moment he goes, "Don't you want a balloon?", "They all float", laughs, and just moves around, it's hard to be scared. He's just having a ball with his role that it's hard not to enjoy it with him, especially when it comes to the infamous library scene. Also, the ongoing Stephen King tropes are fun to point out in ever scene. I know it scares a lot of people; personally I found it more entertaining than scary.
- DirectorJoe WrightStarsLevi MillerHugh JackmanGarrett HedlundTwelve-year-old orphan Peter is spirited away to the magical world of Neverland, where he finds both fun and danger, and ultimately discovers his destiny: to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.Behold! Here's how to do Peter Pan wrong: Having the boy be placed in an orphanage, nuns who deal with pirates, the characters sing a popular pop song that won't exist for several decades, Tiger Lily is whitewashed, young Hook starts out as Indiana Jones, Blackbeard is too cartoony and undignified, he has several chances to kill his nemesis but never once takes advantage of it, and Peter is said to be the one to save the fairy kingdom, when really they end up saving themselves while Peter flies around. The other thing that bugged me was that the intro said it was about how enemies start out as friends, but it's never addressed again. We never see how Hook and Peter go from friends to enemies; no lead in or build up.
The only things it did great were the actors (even the kid playing Peter is great), and the effects for the crocodile and mermaids. I never saw a movie with crocodiles the size of a whale or mermaids that were part electric eel. That was cool.
