Snub: Finding Dory
Despite leading this year’s U.S. box office, Finding Dory did not net a Golden Globe nomination. Pixar, the studio behind the animated hit, was on a winning streak when the Best Animated Feature Film award was introduced in 2006, claiming the Golden Globe five years in a row. But the studio's fortunes have not been as consistent in recent years -- although Pixar did win at the last Globes with Inside Out. The snub may be even more disappointing for the studio when considering that predecessor Finding Nemo was nominated for Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical in 2004.
