- DirectorLevan GabriadzeStarsHeather SossamanMatthew BohrerCourtney HalversonA group of online chatroom friends find themselves haunted by a mysterious, supernatural force using the account of their dead friend. While it is a found footage horror film, "Unfriended" is one of those films that handled it pretty damn well. I regret not watching this film sooner.
- DirectorChris ColumbusStarsAdam SandlerKevin JamesMichelle MonaghanWhen aliens misinterpret video feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, they attack the Earth in the form of the video games. It's a film that didn't need to be a masterpiece. It just needed to be fun, and that's what I got out of it.
- DirectorSeth MacFarlaneStarsMark WahlbergSeth MacFarlaneAmanda SeyfriedNewlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he's a person in a court of law. While not as good as the first film, I still had fun with it regardless.

- DirectorDenis VilleneuveStarsEmily BluntJosh BrolinBenicio Del ToroAn idealistic FBI agent is enlisted by a government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs at the border area between the U.S. and Mexico. As much as I do enjoy the performances in this movie, as well as the directions this film takes, the slow pacing really doesn't help.
- DirectorDanny BoyleStarsMichael FassbenderKate WinsletSeth RogenSteve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution, to paint a portrait of the man at its epicenter. The story unfolds backstage at three iconic product launches, ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac.Phenomenal performances, but the editing and overall feel of it was very off.
- DirectorJoel EdgertonStarsJason BatemanRebecca HallJoel EdgertonA married couple, Simon and Robyn, run into Gordo, an old classmate. Things take a turn when Gordo begins to drop in unannounced at their house and inundates them with mysterious gifts. Some directorial debuts do well, and some don't. This one was sort of in the middle.
- DirectorPeyton ReedStarsPaul RuddMichael DouglasCorey StollArmed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, pull off a plan that will save the world.Surprising to see that we live in a world where Ant-Man has a more tolerable movie than Green Lantern.
- DirectorSean AndersStarsWill FerrellMark WahlbergLinda CardelliniBrad Whitaker is a radio host trying to get his stepchildren to love him and call him Dad. But his plans turn upside down when their biological father, Dusty Mayron, returns. Not the best comedy that Will Ferrell or Mark Wahlberg have made, but not the worst.
- DirectorJosh TrankStarsMiles TellerKate MaraMichael B. JordanFour young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe which alters their physical form in shocking ways. - DirectorColin TrevorrowStarsChris PrattBryce Dallas HowardTy SimpkinsA new theme park, built on the original site of Jurassic Park, creates a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, which escapes containment and goes on a killing spree. My appreciation for this film is about the same as my hype for it: meh...just meh.
- DirectorJonathan DemmeStarsMeryl StreepKevin KlineMamie GummerA musician who gave up everything for her dream of rock-and-roll stardom returns home, looking to make things right with her family.Despite the cast's best efforts, the rest of the film doesn't seem to match up to them.
- DirectorLeigh WhannellStarsDermot MulroneyStefanie ScottAngus SampsonA prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family that reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.Obvious jumpscares, and moments that are so cartoonish. Aside from a couple moments that were scary, there's not much to this one.
- DirectorGil KenanStarsSam RockwellRosemarie DeWittKennedi ClementsA family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces must come together to rescue their youngest daughter after the apparitions take her captive.A bad remake...but even then, I've seen worse.
- DirectorEli RothStarsLorenza IzzoAriel LevyAaron BurnsA group of student activists travels to the Amazon to save the rain forest and soon discover that they are not alone, and that no good deed goes unpunished. It's an Eli Roth cannibal movie...that's all you need to know.

- DirectorEricson CoreStarsEdgar RamírezLuke BraceyRay WinstoneA young FBI agent infiltrates an extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes he suspects of masterminding a string of unprecedented, sophisticated corporate heists.Attended a prescreening of this, so all I can say right now is it was bad.
- DirectorAlan TaylorStarsArnold SchwarzeneggerJason ClarkeEmilia ClarkeWhen John Connor, leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline.Easily the worst of the entire franchise.
- DirectorGregory PlotkinStarsChris J. MurrayBrit ShawIvy GeorgeUsing a special camera that can see spirits, a family must protect their daughter from an evil entity with a sinister plan. The characters are unlikable, the scares and effects were terrible, and the story is more of the same recycled bull that we've seen from the other films. Also, the 3D that they use in this film was completely unnecessary and just makes the film hard to see with how dark it gets. It also fails to answer any questions left unanswered and just raises more questions, leading us to believe that there's another one on the way. Easily the worst of the entire series, and I'm just glad it's over...or at least, I hope it's over.
- DirectorAnne FletcherStarsReese WitherspoonSofía VergaraMatthew Del NegroAn uptight and by-the-book cop (Reese Witherspoon) tries to protect the outgoing widow (Sofia Vergara) of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen.Only one joke made me smirk...the rest of it was pathetic.
- DirectorJoe WrightStarsLevi MillerHugh JackmanGarrett HedlundTwelve-year-old orphan Peter is spirited away to the magical world of Neverland, where he finds both fun and danger, and ultimately discovers his destiny: to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.If you want to know what film this year defines *beep* then look no further than Joe Wright's "Pan." Awful pacing, a cliched and poorly executed story, fake as hell effects, and abysmal acting, you'll walk out of the film confused and angry all at the same time.
- DirectorJohn Francis DaleyJonathan GoldsteinStarsEd HelmsChristina ApplegateSkyler GisondoRusty Griswold takes his own family on a road trip to "Walley World" in order to spice things up with his wife and reconnect with his sons.A painful experience. That's what this was. Just...somebody really needs to find these film makers and just punch them.
- DirectorChristopher LandonStarsTye SheridanLogan MillerJoey MorganThree scouts, on the eve of their last camp-out, discover the true meaning of friendship when they attempt to save their town from a zombie outbreak.Predictable, unfunny, and a waste of an idea.
- DirectorJon M. ChuStarsAubrey SheaStefanie ScottAurora PerrineauAs a small-town girl catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, she and her three sisters begin a journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden."Jem and the Holograms" is a cheap and messy film. When you have a film that has part of its soundtrack and half of its runtime comprised of YouTube videos, you know you're in trouble.
