The Most Interesting Witch Character

When I had finally watched Disney’s live action version of Mulan (2020), a movie I was highly expecting to see but the CoVid lockdowns temporarily shuttered the cinemas down, it presented a brand new extremely powerful Merlin/Gandalf level witch named Xianniang (or Xian Lang), and is extremely interesting because she is not entirely evil and seeks acceptance. So. This character renews the old question, “Who is the most interesting witch (or, at least, your favorite witch)?” Well which one is it? (And yes, I did use the IMDb’s “Our Favorite On-Screen Witches” to make this list.) To talk about this list, gather around the cauldron here, which if you had noticed, in the movies, it seams that witches very rarely use them. Oh, the witches are definitely human or humanoid, with learned powers. No mutants, genies, goddesses, or voodoo priestesses who later revealed themselves as a goddesses.
