Among other reasons the games have now gone up in price or are out of print or that I never got to play or that the console or PC machine such as Windows XP that you need play is no longer available. Or the games on NES, SNES, Nintendo 64 Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Switch Playstation 1, 2, 3, 4, Xbox that are hard to find or haven't seen reprints.
Now days if you want to play these rarest NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gameboy, Color, Advance, games you will have to play them on an emulator on Retroarch with the Playstation Classic USB Gamebox 128 hack, or on the Retropie SD card with those games downloaded.

This is only for the original version and not the DS remake. If you have it good because it's rare and hard to find. I wish Square Enix would release the NES version on PC with a save state feature for the Poker game and monster betting game so it will be easier to win money.

Yes I know this game is included in the list but the reason I included this is the High Resolution version of the this game that you could play on Windows 95, 98, 2000 no longer works on Windows XP or future Windows versions. Unfortunately only the low Resolution Dos version is available on the Kings Quest 2006 collection or on Steam and DOS.

This is one of the rarest SNES games. I was lucky enough to buy this game and play it back in the day in the 1990s. I enjoyed it I liked that my character Maxim ran around the screen, there's fixed encounter attacks and the infamous Ancient Cave basement challenge.
For a long time this game was very expensive but thanks to the emulator on Playstation Classic USB hack or Raspberry Pi SD card you can play this game with the catalog of games.
