Boyd unsuccessfully offers to buy Moonstone and attempts to bribe Billy. While Billy and Johnny guard the stable, Boyd's men drug them and set fire to the building. Moonstone is rescued, Johnny is injured, and Jennie herself dons the family silks and arrives at the track in time to ride to victory. Boyd must answer to the sheriff for his tactics.

When the baby is born, it is put up for adoption and, unknown to Mary, is given a home with Ken, who has returned a millionaire from the oil fields. Mary disappears and is missing for 5 years. Ken finally finds her in a driving snowstorm on Christmas Eve, and he unites her with the little girl she has never seen.

He goes into their headquarters alone, tackles them with club and gun and hunts Dugan to the roof. There the gangster fires at him, but misses. When Dugan's gun is empty Casey goes at him with his fists, beats him up and hauls him to the station. Enid and Casey arrange for early wedding.

Umluk forces Mike to leave, but the trader returns later and takes the willing Wamba away with him, forcing her sister, Nootka, to accompany them as their servant. Umluk learns of the betrayal from Izzy and pursues the party in a light sled. He soon catches sight of the three travelers, but an unlucky accident to his sled prevents him from reaching them. Umluk eventually finds the group in a rough settlement, and, after several trials and tribulations, returns to his icy home with the faithful Nootka, leaving the degraded Wamba behind.

"Murdering" Mooney, Dick's opponent in the charity match, is involved in a minor automobile accident in which a car driven by Jean's younger brother backs into his car; Mooney knocks Jean's brother brutally to the ground, and Jean goes to Dick, asking to be forgiven and encouraging Dick to make hash of Mooney. On the day before the fight, Dick is kidnapped by Harold Brennty, the judge's junior partner, who hopes that, if Dick misses the match, Jean will turn from Dick to him. Dick escapes from his captors and arrives at the ring just in time for round one. Dick is being badly beaten when Jean exhorts him to do his best; he thereupon lays out the champ in short order.

The boys fall in love with the same girl, Laura Whitman; and Ralph, thinking to belittle Robert in her eyes, has him fired. Robert saves the mails from robbery and later saves his grandfather's private car from being wrecked. Cyrus Browning finally meets Mary, whom he has not seen for many years, and she introduces him to his second grandson. The old man realizes the faultiness of his attitude and promises to make amends for the hardships of Mary's life. Robert wins Laura, and Mary's gentle influence makes a man of Ralph.

Randall invites the Merritts to be his guests at his Long Island estate and persuades the brokenhearted Helen to marry him for the sake of her father's comfort. Jack returns from Mexico and arrives at Randall's estate in time to be the first to congratulate Helen on her marriage. Randall confesses his plot, but Helen decides to stay married to him rather than cause scandal. Randall is mysteriously murdered, and, despite Jack's false and noble confession, Helen is arrested. Miss Grant, Randall's housekeeper, confesses to the crime, however, telling the sheriff that Randall went back on his promise to give her child a name.

He loses and dies of heart failure. Alan accuses Margaret of causing his father's death and refuses her offer to return the bonds. Alice does accept the bonds from her, but Garnett, who plans to flee to South America, has her sign them over to him. He attacks her, and Alice stabs him. Believing she has killed him, Alice flees. Margaret takes the blame, but the police arrest both. Garnett is exposed, and the film ends with Warren and Alice and Alan and Margaret about to celebrate a double wedding.

Afterwards, in the dressing room, he beats Wilson up with his bare fists, becomes reconciled with his father, and introduces Mary as his future bride.

The Swiss Family set up a tent and prepare to adjust themselves to their new home. The adventures that follow are many.

Agnes and Dufresne wed, providing a happy home for Shep and Cuddles.

The ceiling caves in; Clifford denounces the couple; Mrs. Dodd threatens to have the marriage annulled; but Cyrus Dodd, recognizing the importance of his son-in-law's invention, is happy with his daughter's choice and makes Powers a business partner.

The police find him but are unable to arrest him for lack of evidence. The heroine, while she is taken home by the hero, drops the jewel case in the taxi. The hero later finds it and returns it to the heroine just after the police, who had traced the thief in the heroine's apartment, had left. But the police had not left ; they had surrounded the house. They eventually arrest the thief. He is sent to Devil's Island, but escapes, returns to Paris and sends for the heroine so that she might bring him the jewel. He is trailed by the police, who had followed the heroine, and is shot and killed by them just as he was about to shoot and kill the hero, who had followed the heroine there. Hero and heroine marry.
